I never thought I would write a bio but here it goes:
I enjoy writing fan-fiction as an escape from the insanity of being a full time mom with two small children. A beautiful girl and a too cute boy who are both trying their hardest to run me into the ground. Exhaustion doesn’t even begin to describe it.
For those of you who do not have the pleasure of being parents imagine this. Try maintaining some type of sanity while two pint size whirling dervishes spin round you asking for snacks, potty, Webkinz etc. at the same time acting as taxi, chef, doctor, referee, and maid.
I have a wonderful husband who works very hard so I can stay home and run the house. He gets a chuckle out of my obsession with fan-fiction. He is also smart enough to leave me alone when the bug hits me. Gotta love him for that!
All in all I am very lucky and I try to count my blessings each day.
But as I like to say: “Who doesn’t love a happy ending!”
That’s why I write, it gives me the ability to play with someone else’s characters and make them do what I wish. The big bonus: They have to listen to me! I’m writing the fic! HA-HA!
That is also why I only write romantic-comedy. Life has too much drama as it is. We all need a laugh and especially, we need to learn not to take ourselves too seriously.
Any-who, I hope you enjoy reading my little drabble and get a chuckle while you are at it.
Yours Sincerely,
Lea Marie

March 2008 Update:
Hello All,
Well I want to apologize to those of you who are waiting on some updates. Please let me explain. I have run through several beta’s and like me they have lives, so turn around isn’t necessarily quick.
Also, I have to say that kids do come first and I’m lucky if I get a shower every day lately. So you can imagine what priority writing comes in. By the end of the night, and after the umpteenth load of laundry, I usually fall asleep before my head hits the pillow.
If hubby is out of town for the week, well let’s just say, that I’m lucky if I can get a hot meal.
So, if there is another person out there who is a master at grammar (because it really is not my strong point. I hate commas and the one million little rules that follow them) and wouldn’t mind taking a look at my drabble, please give me a shout.
I have the next chapter written for two of my stories. Unfortunately, I don’t trust my lousy grammar skills enough to put the chapters out without looking them over a thousand times.
Just a note: I don’t write smut. Well, at least you’ll never see it. There are just some things that I think should remain on a person’s hard drive. If there is a hacker out there talented enough to break in and read it. Well, we should be worrying a little more about your ethics than if you’ve read a smut scene or two.
Lots of love,
Lea Marie
