I don't think I ever put a proper profile up before, so since I have a moment to breathe (for a change!), I'll do it now ;-)

I'm a high school math teacher in Maryland, 29 years old and originally from the great state of Michigan in the U.S. I've been a writer of sorts since grade school, but gave it up for a while in high school and didn't get back to it until after I graduated from college (University of Michigan--go blue!). Inspired by one of my all-time favorite movies, Miracle (Apollo 13 is my other #1), I scratched out my first fanfic just for the hell of it, and posted it here a while later (Krista & Rizzo--go check it out!).

Now I'm inspired by all kinds of things--I just have to keep up with all the ideas floating around in my head. I've written a couple other Miracle pieces, I'm very into CSI:NY, the original CSI, Bones, and am starting to get into CSI:Miami. I've even been inspired to write an Angel piece, though I'm not sure if that will happen again :-P I don't consider myself a shipper because I have a tendancy to throw OCs into everything I write and I'll read anything but slash, but I do like Mac & Stella together from CSI:NY, along with Aiden & Flack, and Booth & Brennan from Bones. I've also got a short original piece posted in one of my LJ's (...go check that one out too!).

UPDATE: Happy Spring! It's so nice to be back in the land of fanfiction! My health problems have been acting up again lately, and I haven't been able to write much for a while, though I've been trying to read as often as I can. But I'm back again, hopefully to stay :-D Some things have changed, though, since last I updated. Baby, One More Time--the third and final installment in the CSI:NY Maddie/Danny series--is, I'm sad to say, on hiatus until I can give it the attention it deserves. I am awfully afraid that by the time I pick it up again no one will be interested in reading, but it can't be helped. My two multi-chapter CSI:Miami stories currently have taken up residence in my brain: Turn the Page--which began as a one-shot and has expanded into an Eric Delko love/friendship/comfort story--and To Be With You, which is the second in my CSI:Miami Tim/Ally series after Breathe Your Life Into Me (now complete). I also have what I'm calling the "Dream" series, which is a set of one-shots revolving around Eric daydreaming about Calleigh that take place during the current season (6). There are five at the moment, and more to come as they pop into my head. And while there technically is a sequence, each piece can be read as a stand-alone or in any order. There are a few other ideas floating around in my head, too, so don't be surprised if something else crops up!
