Endless Grief
In the streets of broken dreams and shattered hopes
A beacon of faith arises.
On an ocean of tears and despair
Luminiscent hope guides the way.
Amongst the battlefield of pain and hatred
Mercy's sweet call penetrates the deaf.
These are the saviors of our souls,
May we never falter so long as they shine bright.
In the empty darkness of time and space
Dear destiny lends us purpose.
Ensnared in the web of lies and deciet
Truth's noble radiance holds the answer.
Down shadowed alleyways of the unfortunate and wronged
The hand of charity soothes and caresses.
These are the guides in the vastness of life.
With them by our side may we never fail.
Keep them always close to your heart and mind.
Know that they alone may save your soul.
Hold them high, let them light your way
Trust them only, let them take your hand.
Listen to them, listen well.
