Greetings, fellow Eartheniods (unless you happen to be reading this from your space station, in which case, greetings anyway!)!

A few factoids about the enigma known as me:

Name: What's the point of a pen name if I tell you my given name, which, by the way, I HATE? Call me Demi.

Age: Just turned 16! WHEE!

Height: 5'6" or so

Eyes: Sort of gray, behind thick glasses, and coated with one of mankind's greatest inventions besides Spam: EYELINER!

Hair: It's short and brown. I'm trying to convince my parents to let me dye it black.

Interests: Reading and writing (DUH! Why else would I be here?), drawing, cartoons and anime, sleeping, food that I should not be eating, anonymous grafitti in the school bathroom (to which I may or may not have contributed...), hanging with my few (yet awesome) friends, comic books, listening to music, being alone, the sky and city lights in the distance, having insane amounts of fun, the colors black, purple, silver, and lime green, aliens, mecha, and a whole lotta other junk.

HATES: stupidity, bad grammer, when Quick Edit mashes words together,internet speak (y'know, like those eeeevil smileys), and too many other things to list. There are better things to do.

What else do you wanna know? I'm just me. One part Goth/loner, one part sugar high freak, one part artist. Here're some lists, just cause I can.

Favorite shows: The Grim Adventure of Billy and Mandy, Invader Zim, Teen Titans, Codename: Kids Next Door, Megas XLR, Adult Swim (technically not a show, but oh, well), and other stuff I watch when I'm bored.

Favorite comic books: Anything by Jhonen Vasquez and Roman Dirge, and X-Men (My brother got me into it...)

Favorite books: Too many to count. Hitchhiker's Guide and Artemis Fowl come immediately to mind.

Favorite bands: Metallica, Alice in Chains, Bush, Godsmack, Slipknot, Nine Inch Nails,Our Lady Peace, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Rush, and more

Favorite clothes: Anything black. Normally, I wear black (never blue) jeans and T-shirts with a black jean jacket or hoodie. I have a black trenchcoat, and I love it to pieces, but all trenchcoats are BANNED from school. Curse you, jerks who hid rifles underneath your trenchcoats! CURSE YOUUUUUUU!

So, more about me (because you care so much about me). I used to write for Invader Zim when I was just starting out, but there's nothing worth posting in my old notebooks, though the experience and dark, humorous influences were invaluable to my current style, which I would describe as casual yet somewhat poetic, with occasional overblown euphamisms and jokes wherever appropriate, which range from subtle to campy. The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy is really the only thing I'm writing for at the moment, and I'm completely addicted to it. All hail Maxwell Atoms! (Y'know...the creator?)

I like poetry, sarcasm, song-fics, and clean romance. I fall under the catagory of "hopeless romantic," sadly. I am super-enamored of the supernatural, paranormal, and anything dark. I love mythology, especially Norse.

One thing I have a low threashold for is suicide and self-destructive activities (like cutting oneself on purpose). Not because I'm squeamish, or because I've attempted it, but I just think it's a bad idea in general and I know people who used to cut themselves. There are SSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many better things to do, people. Drink a soda or something. It's hard to be depressed on caffene.

How about what I do? I write in a journal every day, I have a poetry book and a binder jammed full of mediocre one shots and failed stories, I write and draw avidly. I love to draw demons and faeries, and punk-Goths. I've been doing a lot of fanart lately, too. I don't allow myself to sleep until I write at least 25 lines of a story. Try getting writer's block then. It's an excellent cure.

Because it's pratically required, here's the pairing I ship: ZAGR, DATR, Grim/Mandy. There's a few more I'll go for, but I'm not a rabid shipper of anything. And I generally don't do slash. Just not my thing.

Weird Facts about me:

I work as a tour guide in a cave. No lie! Tip well, you lazy tourists!
I talk to a paper demon I made. His name is Todd. Thus far, Todd had never talked back. I'm not sure whether to be relieved or disappointed...
I have mildly disturbing crushes on several cartoon charactors.
There are only three songs that ever get stuck in my head : "Head Like A Hole"by NIN, "Walk" by Panthera, and "The Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult.
I used to be a gamer. That's not so much weird, but just something I was. I'm still a FF7 freak, though, and I always will be.
I love skulls. My dad collects 'em. I got skull hair clips!
I don't like sunlight. I just don't. Can't stand nature, either.
