MORE THAN YOU KNEW:
My very first Squalphie and my first actual fic ever. I started writing it when I was a very bad writer, scrapped it, rewrote it. Still unsure on that front. I don't know. What do you think? Should I replace it or keep it? I was thinking editing it might work.
GENERAL:
I am from the Land Down Under, which, I think, is a very unfitting name. I don't get why people mock Australians at every given opportunity. Some people in America don't even know where it is. The Chaser's War on Everything tried an experiment in which they got some middle-class Americans to believe that the Great Wall of China had been in Australia first. Sweatdrop. Maybe it's a good thing that at least they're up-to-date on their Asian history, and don't think the Great Wall of China was built by the Emperor Nazi Goreng in order to keep the rabbits out ... oh, wait...
RANDOM:
I use the word lol a LOT. (Not when I write fanfiction, though. That would just be weird. Random author's notes: LOL! SEPHROTH!111!!! HAV MAH BBIES I LOV U!! lol lol lol! ... even if I don't write FF7 ... maybe Squall instead. But I'm not an insipid fangirl.)
I hate people trying to pass off the above random author's notes as proper grammar instead of what it really is: defecation of the English language. I also hate author's notes in the middle of equally unappetising text. (i.e. The gun was being held to her head. She didn't know wat to do. Should she jump of the bridge, or just beginning to run? (A/N: shes not suicidal btw lol)) ... WTH is the point, I ask you?
I love Squall and Selphie. Don't ask me why. I think it's an opposites attract thing, and while Rinny and Squall are opposite enough ... I just believe that Rinoa could be more sisterly to him. But then again, I have written Squinoa before and loved it, I just love Squallphie more.
I do not believe that General Caraway is evil. He's just misunderstood. Like Biggs and Wedge.
how does one combat the stupidity of one's own grammar? sigh.
