I will never abandon a story; I will finish all my stories if I have to force myself. But, since I'm working on my own private projects and due to dragging updates, I decided to try and not put out any more multi-chapters fics until I finished some of the older ones, unless its already complete. Fanfiction Epics to Read: I'll change these up from time to time, but the recommendations below go in the epic section. I mean, these fanfics discuss and divulge so deeply and well into their world and characters that I am left gasping for air. I feel like a noob when reading these. So, give these stories your love and respect in the only way a reader can: review baby. :P The Beginning of the End by EZZ: This sucker is epic, 400,000 words and still going. Its about our dear antagonist, Zurg, who is Buzz Lightyear's main villain in BLoSC. Their is more to the purple emperor than meets the eye, and I promise the very first chapter will suck you in. You are introduced to the interesting concept of why Zurg calls himself an Emperor... because an Emperor is only an ruler if he once had a land and people to rule, no? I can honestly say I'm glad I got into a Buzz craze or I would have never found this gem. Checkmate by pearl84: If you thought the one above was long... this sucker is past 800,000 words. Talk about dedication. Turns out she started writing this for the Danny Phantom section around the time I was working on A Ghostly Cry. Wish I would have ran into this story then, but I discovered it now and boy... I love it. In this story we get a deeper look at the antagonist, Vlad Masters, who finally gets an upper hand over Danny. Kind of a father son thing though not as fluffy. Its rather realistic, dealing with trails of why Vlad is lonely and cruel while Danny tries to push off his thoughts of turning into his evil self, Dan. Embers by Vathara: is an Avatar the Last Airbender story with around 500,000 words. While offered some interesting concepts about Fire Nation culture and dragons, it also revises the series by continuing from the point of Ba Sing Se where Iroh and Zuko try to blend in... the true villain of the world being revealed as spirits that are trying to hide forgotten arts of bending that are meant to heal and protect. Furthermore, I recommend almost all stories in my favorites. I need to do a little weeding, but their are some real treasures in there. If you want to browse through them, I recommend by categories.
