Okay sir... I know that you did warn us innocent readers about this scandalous story but... Danny Phantom is a childrens show. Why must you sexify it? Don't kids these days get enough of violence and sex in everyday doses? I understand that you're 22 and you want to make the idea for the story line more indepth and realistic but can't you find any other way to do it than this? Just thought from a young and innocent mind...

I'm sure that you meant well in your review, but I must state that reviews are not for complaints. They are there to improve the writing style of a writer. I feel that I must urge you to use the Private Messaging system offered by FanFiction.net the next time you feel like writing something similar to what you said to me to another author.

As to the point you wish to make, yes, Danny Phantom is a children's show, but I have to point out that many writers, both here on FF.net and on other sites, are adults (or pretending to be anyway). It isn't our fault that we got attracted to the show, that we liked the show, and that we want more from the show. That is why we "sexify" it. That is why my story is rated M, where people who want more from the show get the piece of entertainment they want. Most people who read my type of work only want a picture on how Danny and Sam get together, and this is one way of enlightening them on how we writers see them admit their love and affection for each other.

You made it clear that you read my warning, and yet you chose to read, and then criticize my work in a review. I get very upset with readers who say, "0_O Ew... You have serious problems." -quoted from Black January. That is not what you should write in REVIEWS, because REVIEWS are where you must correct the mistakes the writer made in the chapter, be it grammar or spelling. Complaints you want to make known to the author are given through the Private Messaging service, as mentioned previously. You can find that on the author's profile, right underneath the writer's name.

You are probably wondering why I've said all this to you. You are probably wondering, "What gives Eris Dea Disaccordo the right to tell me all this?"

My answer?

I have never given a review that puts a writer down. I do not judge them, because I know what it is like to be judged. I will compliment their work, if only for the effort they put into writing them. I do not give them long winded speeches that basically say, "You suck." I give them my observations about the chapter in a review and try to be professional as I do it. And in turn, I ask only for CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISMS.

The next time you want to shoot someone down, be more considerate. Don't put it in a review where readers can see it and judge without bothering to read the story itself, because it disheartens us writers. Write it in a Private Message for us to read and take into consideration.

This message will be posted on my profile, to encourage other writers to take the advice I've written here. I do hope that you see the point I've tried to make, the way I saw yours.

Now tell me, am I correct in saying all of this? It is far better for an author to see a negative comment in a Private Message (PM) rather than in a review. You see, whenever I want to read a story, I always refer to the reviews given to the story, no matter how many there are. If those review give a positive remark, then I try it out too, and leave a review afterwards. Granted, I don't leave a review in EVERY chapter, but I don't flame them or give unhelpful remarks about their fanfiction in a review. It puts a writer down to see bad comments about their stories, and soon, it'll make them want to stop writing altogether. Right? What do you think? PM me. I'm sorry for not posting anything for a few years now, but I'm super busy and really swamped with homework and projects. As of now, I have no plans on writing or continuing any of my unposted work, so I have nothing to feed your insatiable appetite for reading. All my posted work are and will remain one-shots. I don't intend on making any of them a multichapter story. If I ever post a long story, I will indicate that on the summary section.
