It's been deleted, and I'm thoroughly disgusted at myself for doing so-- I can promise you that I will never, EVER delete a story again. It's like chipping a piece of your imagination away. In any case, I really, sincerely apologize for all the people who were waiting for the next chapter, and I also really appreciate your constructive criticism and amazing reviews. It's great to get that kind of feedback, and I'd certainly encourage you to do it when I get around to writing something else. As I said, I'm going through a rough spot in my life at the moment, but I'd still appreciate a personal message or something if you want to talk to me. I'm still reading whenever I have the time. I'm so glad you guys liked this story-- I'm really excited about it, and I'm glad it's been going so well. But something came to my attention when I was writing Seeing the Sky, a NaruSaku friendship piece with NejiSaku undertones. A couple people were really nice in their reviews, but two or three attacked my story on the basis of its HINTED pairings. If you have ever done this to an author, for shame-- a story should be reviewed based on the quality of the writing and critiqued on the little mistakes here and there, or anything that stands out to break the flow of the words; not attacked because of the pairings. I stated clearly in the summary that there would be NejiSaku hints. If you don't like the pairings, don't read it. And do NOT review it merely to bash it. Had to get that off my chest. (Also, for those who adamantly turn their noses at stories just because of pairings-- try reading it. You may grow to love them!) And another thing-- right now I am currently in the process of making a ShikaSaku oneshot. Not many people realize what a cute pairing this is, but if you want to check it out I'd suggest the story "Shikamaru Plus Glasses Equals", a hilarious fic, and "dawning", also amazing. Basic Info You Probably Don't Want/Need to Know Fanbase: I usually write Naruto fanfics, considering the manga and show have been my obsession for 6 months and counting now. Anything else I write will probably have been done on a whim, like Avatar: The Last Airbender, or Harry Potter, or something. Pairings: A true nonconformist here, I'm in love with non-canon pairings like NejiSakura, GaaraSakura, SaiSakura. They always present interesting challenges. But I practically froth at the mouth for a good NarutoSakura, and many SasukeSakuras are good, too. Whether or not I'll ever write one is another matter entirely-- although a NaruSakuSasu oneshot is currently very compelling. Friends: Currently, I don't exactly have 'friends' on FF.net. But I am a staff member of, I think, one C2 community, and I'd love to be a part of more. Send me an invite if you think I'm worthy.
