Moi Fah suggested that I do this, and from a reader’s perspective, I can see why this would be needed. It’s just general information about the characters and who they are in my story. Meaning, please don’t pm me about giving out false information. I’ll add more as the story progresses.
Byakuya Kuchiki (from Bleach) –Lord of the Land of Light; his last wife, Hisana, died from illness, leaving him alone. Because of that, he started to act more aloof. When Itachi Uchiha brought up the idea of an alliance through an arranged marriage, Byakuya had to choose to marry Itachi’s sister-in-law, or allow Itachi to marry Rukia. Wanting to protect his late wife’s sister, he agreed to marry Hotaru. They have a very strained relationship. (First Appearance: Prologue)
Hotaru Tomoe Uchiha Kuchiki (From Sailor Moon) – She is the only acknowledged daughter of Souichi Tomoe and an unnamed woman. Her father is a lesser lord from a distant land while her real mother was a prostitute who died during childbirth. After her father died, she fell into the care of her uncle since her “mother” (Souichi’s real wife) doesn’t want anything to do with her. So, instead of growing up to be a lady, she grew up as a Madoushi (Sorceress) making her a sort of anomaly among the nobles because she doesn’t act the way noble women do. She married Sasuke Uchiha years later and they have one daughter. However, Sasuke died in war, leaving her in the care of her brother-in-law, who arranged a marriage between her and Byakuya. (First Appearance: Prologue)
Itachi Uchiha (From Naruto) – He is the Lord of the Land of Death. He’s just weird, there’s no way to get around that. Something obviously happened between the time Sasuke left and the night he killed the rest of his family. Hiashi, head of the Hyuuga Clan and a close friend of Fugaku Uchiha, declared war on Itachi, who had convinced his brother to come to his aid. Itachi somehow convinced Sasuke that the Hyuuga clan was the one to massacre his family. He’s also weird because he obviously doesn’t care about his family (and that’s glaringly obvious) but he warned Yura not to hurt Hotaru and Kanna physically in Chapter 2. He has some hidden agenda that only I know about. Everyone else will have to wait and find out. (First Appearance: Prologue)
Sasuke Uchiha (from Naruto) – He is the youngest son of Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha, and the younger brother of Itachi Uchiha. Early in his life, Sasuke wanted to travel and along his travels, he met Hotaru and eventually they did fall in love and married. They did go back to meet his family once, but they moved out where Hotaru’s “family” lived. They had a peaceful life until Itachi needed Sasuke’s help in a war against the Hyuuga. He died, leaving Hotaru a widow and Kanna fatherless. “No Uchiha woman, especially one with a child, may remain unmarried.” Now, he’s just a sulking spirit in heaven, watching over his family. (First Appearance: Prologue)
Hisana Kuchiki (From Bleach) – She’s the late wife of Byakuya Kuchiki; while she was alive, she was the epitome of a perfect noblewoman. She was quiet, polite, and demure. Her only problem (in the aristocrats’ eyes) was that she was a commoner. Pssh, like that was going to stop Byakuya. Anyway, she died from sickness after seven years of marriage. Now, she is a spirit in heaven, but she seems happier. Well, it is heaven, after all. (First Appearance: Prologue)
Kanna Uchiha (From Inuyasha) – She is the only daughter of Hotaru and Sasuke Uchiha. She’s a very smart little girl, quiet, and shy. She’s very close to her mother, and she still misses her father, but she’s somewhat getting along with her new stepfather. Her friends are Kocho and Asuka. (First Appearance: Chapter 1)
Rukia Kuchiki (From Bleach) – She’s the only known relative of Hisana Kuchiki. She’s pretty much the same personality-wise as she is in the anime. The only differences are that she does know Hisana, and she and Byakuya have a much better brother/sister relationship than they do in the anime. (First Appearance: Chapter 1)
Renji Abarai (From Bleach) – nothing much about him except that he’s Byakuya’s general. (First Appearance: Chapter 1)
Yura (From Inuyasha) – She is the cousin of Kaguya, and she is downright mean and devious; she’s technically “with Itachi” but they’re really using each other. Her goal is to become Byakuya’s wife. (First Appearance: Chapter 2)
Usagi Tsukino (From Sailor Moon) – She’s the daughter of Serenity Tsukino, niece of Sugimi Tsukino, and the cousin of Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha Tsukino. She’s just a happy person in general, but she does get mad really easily. When her mother died, her uncle took care of her. (First Appearance: Chapter 2)
Sesshoumaru Tsukino (From Inuyasha) He is Lord of the Land of the Moon. After his father died, he became the lord. He still has his ward, Rin, but he and Inuyasha don’t try to kill each other. Just like Byakuya, he is very cold. (First Appearance: Chapter 2)
Inuyasha Tsukino (From Inuyasha) He is the hotheaded, arrogant half-brother of Sesshoumaru and cousin of Usagi. Also, a half demon since his mother was a human princess. (First Appearance: Chapter 2)
Tsubaki (From Inuyasha) A Kuro Miko (Dark Priestess), she doesn’t use her powers for evil…per se… Anyways, she is one of Hotaru’s closest childhood friend, while the other being Kikyou, she is very protective of her friends. She is “courting” Kuronue. Unlike her two friends, she doesn’t have any children of her own; however, she helps in taking care of her lover’s niece. In contrast to her friends’ more passive natures, she is easily provoked, but Hotaru or Kikyou usually stop her before she gets “too out of hand” (First Appearance: Chapter 2)
Kikyou (From Inuyasha) Hotaru’s other childhood friend, a miko. She, Tsubaki, and her two daughters are visiting Hotaru and Kanna. Out of the three, Kikyou is the most distant and the most serene. Only those closest to her know the real Kikyou. She has two daughters, but the father is unknown (First Appearance: Chapter 2)
Kocho and Asuka (from Inuyasha) They are the two daughters of Kikyou; Kocho is the oldest while Asuka is the younger. They are generally well-behaved, and very polite. They are friends with Kanna. (First Appearance: Chapter 2)
Kuronue (From Yu Yu Hakusho movie) A bat youkai residing in the countryside. He takes care of his niece, Shiori, after her parents died. A laid back character, he is one over the very few people who can tolerate Tsubaki’s “volatile temper” (First Appearance: Chapter 3)
Youko Kurama (From Yu Yu Hakusho) A Kitsune that lives in the countryside with his friends, Kuronue and Hiei. Very laid back (First Appearance: Chapter 3)
Hiei (From Yu Yu Hakusho) A youkai that lives in the country side with his friends, Youko and Kuronue. Aloof and sarcastic. (First Appearance: Chapter 3)
Shiori (From Yu Yu Hakusho) She is Kuronue’s niece. She was placed in his care after her parents died. She’s very sweet. Although she is a hanyou, her uncle still loves her very much. (First Appearance: Chapter 3)
Jyuushirou Ukitake (From Bleach) He is the brother of Souichi Tomoe. After his brother died, he basically raised Hotaru to be a great madoushi. Although he does care for his family, he was still ashamed of Souichi. He changed his name from Tomoe to Ukitake. He died of tuberculosis. He’s a very kind person. (First Appearance: Chapter 4)
Kaori Tomoe (From Sailor Moon) Souichi Tomoe’s wife, she was supposed to act as Hotaru’s mother, but in truth, she hated Hotaru. So she basically ignored Hotaru all her life or made her step-daughter miserable. (First Appearance: Chapter 4)
Kaguya (From the 2nd Inuyasha movie) She is the wife of Naraku. She’s just very mean and haughty. (First Appearance: Chapter 5)
Naraku (From Inuyasha) He is the lord of the land of Death. Sinister from the start, is it possible that he has some hidden agenda? Probably. (First Appearance: Chapter 5)
Hakudoushi (From Inuyasha) He is the son of Naraku and Kaguya. The first thing he does is make fun of Kanna. (First Appearance: Chapter 5)
Peruru (From Sailor Moon Movie) Kanna’s savior, he’s a very sweet boy. He’s also working for Byakuya as the stable boy because his mother couldn’t take care of his four brothers and him. (First Appearance: Chapter 5)
Neji Hyuuga (From Naruto) Part of the Hyuuga Clan, he is the one who killed Sasuke Uchiha. He seems guilty. (First Appearance: Chapter 5)
Hiashi Hyuuga (From Naruto) Lord of the Land of Water, Hiashi is a serious man and also Fugaku Uchiha’s best friend. He declared war on Itachi after the death of his friend, but there’s more to him than meets the eye (First appearance: Chapter 6)
Tsunade (From Naruto) Lady of the Land of Fire. Not much about her other than she likes to drink; however, looks are deceiving and she’s stronger than she seems. (First Appearance: Chapter 6)
Vegeta (From Dragonball Z) Lord of the Land of the Sun. Pretty much the same as in the anime (arrogant with a huge ego) but a bit more of a family man than his real self. (First Appearance: Chapter 6)
Michiru (From Sailor Moon) Lady Michiru is Lord Koenma's wife. Very calm and serene, however, there is more behind her tranquil mask. Her relationship with her husband seems to mirror that of Hotaru and Byakuya's marriage. (First Appearance: Chapter 7)
Orochimaru (From Naruto) in my story, he's Naraku's half-brother. (First Appearance: Chapter 7)
Koenma (From Yu Yu Hakusho) He is lord of the land of life, and generally gets along with everybody except for Naraku and his family. (First Appearance: Chapter 7)
Hinata (from Naruto) she is Neji's cousin and Hiashi's daughter. (First Appearance: Chapter 7)
