j0. You've stumbled upon lockheedelektra's (LE's) profile.

A few things about me and my writing style... I never write multi-chapter stories under T, because

1) I have a strange, violent little mind, and

2) People swear, kiddies. Get used to it.

I'd actually like to think I'm a calm, laid-back person... I don't attack anyone unless they try to hurt me or my friends. (Read: My motto is, 'Violence is not the answer. Violence is the question, and the answer is yes!')

Ahm... I mostly write anime fanfiction, tho' if something comes into my head for, like, Fire Emblem or something, I'll go for it... My favorite animes are Rurouni Kenshin, InuYasha, Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Naruto, DNAngel, Getbackers, Trigun, Hellsing, Samurai Deeper Kyo, and about ten thousand other serieses (nice grammar, eh?) that I haven't seen yet on DVD but I love the manga.

I don't oppose shounen- or shoujo-ai. Same with yaoi or yuri. Hell, love in its purest form is when you love someone for who they are--their personality, their little quirks, the way they laugh--stuff that often times has nothing to do with gender. (I'm still trying to get the hang of writing these kinds of stories... oy.)

As for alternate pairings (like KeikoKurama or KagSess), I don't despise those either, nor do I condemn the authors who write those pairings. You wanna write about that, rock on with your bad self. I stick to canon, just because there's more evidence. (I'm a logic freak... can ya tell?) I tend to root for the female characters to get paired with who they like--hence my hope that the rumors that Naruto and Sakura will get together at the end of Shippuuden are false. NaruHina and SasuSaku forever!

Tomboy, I am. Yoda, I am not. Looking at me like that, you are... why?

I swear a lot. I mean A LOT. I have caused more sensitive ears to start bleeding. I think my favorite one right now is 'bitch'. This is kind of weird, because I consider myself a feminist--but then again, I don't necessarily think 'bitch' is an insult... at least not if you use it to mean a cunning, intelligent female. No, I use it the way they do in prison. As in, 'you are my bitch' or, 'can it you whiny little bitch'. Granted, I've never been to prison, but it sounds very badass (not prison, using the word 'bitch' in this manner). Anyways, my point in all of this is that some of my fics contain pretty rough language, and my rants get graphic as well. So now you can't say I didn't warn you.

Don't you just hate it when people ignantly misspell character names? If I see 'Gaara' spelled 'Garra' one more fucking time, someone will pay. Check your sources, people. It's not that hard.

I have recently aquired an account on Fiction Press, and if you feel like it, you can check me out on there (same penname). I've only got one thing on there now, and it'll stay as a one-shot unless you, the wondrous reviewers, tell me otherwise.

Behold! For I have begun the immensely engaging and thoroughly distracting practice of ROLE-PLAYING!

My fledgling site may be found here: http://desecrationssmile.proboards105.com/

And... I guess that's it. I hope I can keep broadening my horizons and become like the authors I've come to respect here on FF.

It has come to my attention that a lot of authors have lists of their favorite pairings. So, I figured I'd do the same.

Naruto

SasuSaku (But I'm picky about it. If it's in the canonverse, then Sasuke first has to realize he's in love with Sakura. Then he has to undergo a serious de-asshole-ification. Then he has to bust his balls trying to get Sakura to like him again. Only then will I be satisfied. If it's AU, however, then the introspection/personality overhaul thing is optional. But he'll still have to bust his balls. I just love making it difficult for him.)

SasoSaku (If you just can't stomach SasuSaku, I offer this as a cop-out.)

NaruHina (I will be VERY pissed if these two do not end up together. End of story.)

ShikaTema (You just know there's going to be verbal sparring going on. Nothing says UST like verbal sparring.)

NejiTen (I do not feel the need to justify myself for this one.)

InoKiba (I know, not much interaction between them, but somehow I think it would work out. I would love to see their tempers flare at each other.)

Rurouni Kenshin

KenshinxKaoru (Basically the only real canon pairing, and these two are just so sweet together. And a dash of BattousaixKaoru (see below) always makes things interesting.)

BattousaixKaoru (One word, people: BOW-CHICKA-BOW-BOW!!)

AoshixMisao (Come on, it's so romantic! I'm a sucker for these kinds of things.)

SanoxMegumi (See my reason for ShikaTema.)

Trigun

VashxMeryl (He totally digs her. Secretly. Oh yeah. And there's that verbal sparring again...)

WolfwoodxMillie (I seriously think Wolfwood's in awe of Millie. Like, he just can't believe this wonderful person dropped into his crappy life.)

KnivesxOC (Gotta do it right. Very few fics can, but when they do, it's epic.)

LegatoxOC (The man deserves some happiness, and Meryl and Millie are too idealistic. There's always the Mary-Sue trap, but this can be done right.)

Fire Emblem

LynxSain (So cute! And very funny as well.)

KentxFiora (I was a fan of GuyxFiora, but then I read Irony by Alias Enigma, which converted me into a hardcore KentxFiora fan.)

GuyxPriscilla (I then realized that GuyxPriscilla was eye-bleedingly adorable.)

HectorxFlorina (Something just... clicks with this. I think he would practically force her to get over her fear of men just by being around her.)

WilxRebecca (They're both archers! See the connection? And depending on how old you think Wil is, he doesn't even have to be a pedophile.)

ErkxSerra (It's kind of a love/hate relationship. I don't need to mention the verbal sparring again, do I?)

EliwoodxNinian (This is so appropriate it's not even funny, and so sweet it makes my teeth hurt.)

Samurai Deeper Kyo

KyoxYuya (It is t3h s3xy. Don't you dare argue with me.)

BenitoraxMahiro (I don't see a lot of this, but I like it. I think he really respects her, and she follows him because he's a good person, not because he's a Tokugawa.)

YukimuraxOkuni (Despite the rumors, I'm pretty sure Yukimura isn't gay. Bisexual, maybe. But this pairing is just dynamite.)

AkiraxTokito (Everyone assumes that Akira substitutes Tokito for Yuya, but I disagree. I think he's much more suited for Tokito, and he knows it.)

HotaruxOC (I only favor OC pairings if I think the character isn't suited to anyone else in the show. Pairing Hotaru up with Yuya because she's the default girl isn't right, and it's insulting to Yuya, frankly. I think Kyo's the only one who can really appreciate her.)

FF7

CloudxTifa (This pairing kicks ass. You betta learn.)

VincentxYuffie (I think I have an obsession for pairing hyperactive kunoichi with practically mute guys who are twice their height.)

ZackxAerith (Screw CloudxAerith. This is way, way better.)

TsengxElena (They don't get enough attention, they really don't.)

RenoxOC (Because, in my book, the FF7 girls have other commitments. Reno just doesn't seem to click with any of them.)

Yu Yu Hakusho

YuusukexKeiko (I know it's a no-brainer, but everyone focuses so much on Hiei and Kurama. This pairing needs more love!)

KuwabaraxYukina (So Kuwabara's not classically handsome. He doesn't look half-bad in a certain light. And it's the heart that counts!)

KuramaxBotan (I can see this, somehow. Botan seems like an airhead, but I bet she's got some surprises up those kimono sleeves.)

HieixShizuru (Like HieixMukuro, only better, because Shizuru's more of a smartass. Don't make me say 'verbal sparring' again.)

Ouran High School Host Club

TamakixHaruhi (Don't get me wrong, I like Haruhi with every member of the Host Club--even Hunni, but that's stretching it a bit--but TamakixHaruhi just seems so natural to me. Plus it's retina-explodingly cute.)

Full Metal Alchemist

EdxWinry (Seriously, this is so obvious it's like a wrench to the face. Get it?)

RoyxRiza (All hail Royai. No other comment.)

Bleach

IchixRuki (You people should know what I think of the verbal sparring by now.)

IshixHime (Very cute, and hey, they are both in the crafts club! I'm just waiting for Orihime to get over Ichigo and realize how badass Uryuu is.)

HitsuxHina (The epitome of adorable pairings. You hear me? THE EPITOME.)

KisukexYoruichi (They've moved past that 'awkward teenager' phase; it's a very mature but probably secret relationship.)

Fruits Basket

KyoTohru (I was recently swayed to this pairing, and I just realized it makes much more sense than YukiTohru.)

HatsuharuxOC (I just don't like him with Rin. It's just... wrong, somehow.)

InuYasha

InuyashaxKagome (Some people say: overdone. I say: who the fuck cares?)

MirokuxSango (Maybe not as popular as InuKag, but definitely deserves attention. Proof that opposites really do attract.)

SesshoumaruxKagura (I'm digging this for some inexplicable reason. I would love watching them get pissed at each other.)

SesshoumaruxAdult!Rin (Satisfies my sweet tooth like nothing else.)

BankotsuxOC (It can be done. I've read the most badass BankotsuxOC fic imaginable. It can be done.)

Devil May Cry

VergilxLady (I think it's the only definitive 'alternate pairing' that I like. If done wrong, it's the stuff of crappy romance novels. If done right, it's the sexiest fucking story you will ever read.)

DantexOC (Largely because I just can't see him clicking with any of the girls from the games. Trish looks too much like his mom, his relationship with Lady looked like more of a brother/sister thing, and Lucia is out because of the sheer suckitude of DMC2. So, let's make someone up!)

The Slayers

GourryxLina (This was the love/hate relationship that started all the other love/hate relationships. Slayers is that old and this pairing is that great.)

ZelgadisxAmelia (This follows my 'they're cute together, so it's a good pairing' thesis statement.)

XellossxFilia (It is t3h s3xy for many of the same reasons that KyoxYuya is t3h s3xy. And you had still better not argue with me.)

Magic Knight Rayearth

LantisxHikaru (It is the smex. The Rayearth smex.)

EaglexHikaru (If LantisxHikaru is the smex, then this is the smex squared.)

LantisxHikaruxEagle (If LantisxHikaru is the smex, and EaglexHikaru is the smex squared, then this is the smex cubed. That's some fanfiction algebra for ya.)

ClefxUmi (At first I was AscotxUmi, but this is better, I think.)

FerioxFuu (Impossibly sweet. The dental bills caused by this pairing are greater than the national debt.)

Pirates of the Carribean

WillxElizabeth (It's canon. Y'all know about my law of following canon. Unless what's canon pisses me off. But this pairing doesn't, so there.)

Air Gear

IkkixRingo (Prepare yourselves, because I've thought this out so well I could write a damn essay. -cracks knuckles- Firstly, IKKI AIN'T GAY. So enough with this IkkixAkito or AgitoxIkki or IkkixKazu bullcrap. Secondly, sure, Ikki thinks Simca's hot, but he's a teenage boy, for cryin' out loud. All girls are hot to him. He's got a deeper emotional connection with Ringo. Thirdly, if you're reading the manga, you may also support IkkixKururu. For reasons I'm not sure of, I'm just not getting a 'romantic' vibe off of Ikki and Kururu. Kururu probably has a crush on Ikki, but hell, so does Akito, and y'all know how I feel about that. As further evidence, we all know that the easiest way to tell if a teenage boy likes a girl is to tease him about it and see if he gets riled up--and the only time Ikki ever gets touchy about his relationship with a girl is when Kazu and the others tease Ikki about his relationship with Ringo. Meaningless? I think not! And don't EVEN get me started on the sexual tension those two had during their race with each other...)

KazuxEmily (Totally did not get enough attention in the anime. I really like Emily's character, and her relationship with Kazu goes way deeper in the manga. It's quite adorable. And despite Kazu running the Flame(ing!) Road, I'm fairly certain he isn't gay. Okay, so when he's in a room full of naked girls he politely asks if they could put some clothes on--but he does this while blushing, stammering, and looking at the floor. Just 'cause he isn't a horndog like Ikki doesn't mean he's gay.)

SoraxRika (Very, very sweet. Proof that love can conquer all obstacles. Reminds me of KisukexYoruichi for some reason. BIG, MASSIVE EDIT: This only applies to the animeverse. Because in the anime, Sora doesn't turn out to be the conceited, selfish, manipulative, deceitful ASSHOLE that he is in the manga. Manga!Sora does not deserve Rika. At. All.)

Harry Potter

HarryxGinny (Ultimate WIN. Enough said.)

RonxHermione (Because Hermione is a fantastic character and Ron is too bloody adorable. The combination of these two archetypes is classic, and should not be messed with.)

NevillexLuna (Oddballs and outcasts unite!)

Lords of Avalon (we need a section for these excellent novels in a bad way, people. Go read them right now!)

KerriganxSeren (This pairing--which is canon, by the way--is so awesome, even my authoress friend who ONLY writes alternate pairings adores it.)

VarianxMerewyn (Because it's what's on the inside that counts... and when the outside is smokin', it's even more enjoyable.)

Ayashi no Ceres (Ceres: Celestial Legend)

TouyaxAya (WHERE are all the bloody fanfics for this phenomenal pairing?! Why is everyone sticking her with Yuuhi?! Her heart's with Touya, dammit! Would you tell Juliet to dump Romeo for Paris because Paris 'can provide for her better'?! I think not!)

YuuhixShuro (You may have gotten the idea that I dislike Yuuhi from the previous pairing, but I don't dislike him in the slightest. I absolutely adore Yuuhi, with his steadfast devotion and lethal chopsticks. "So where did Shuro come from?" you ask. Well, I think Yuuhi needs someone who can stand by his side, and Shuro's definitely capable of doing that--only in a much less predictable way than how we usually see from anime girls. She can keep Yuuhi on his toes, and I think he'll enjoy it much more once he figures out Shuro's a chick.)

Codex Alera novels (Furies of Calderon, Academ's Fury, etc.) (which we also need a section for in a bad way.)

TavixKitai (Or KitaixTavi. Bitches don't know 'bout my KitaixTavi.)

BernardxAmara (Who knew that a married couple could be so smexy?)

ArarisxIsana (I love seeing people get a second chance at life and love. It gives me warm fuzzies.)

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

KaminaxYoko (Because Kamina is fucking GAR, and Yoko is one of the best female characters I've come across. And they totally rock the universe together. Who the hell do you think they are?! Don't get me wrong, Kittan's pretty freaking awesome, but you CANNOT top those sunglasses.)

SimonxNia (Bitch please. Did you see how instantaneously she snapped him out of depression? Did you?!)

Kingdom Hearts

SoraxKairi (For fuck's sake, people. RITE MOAR SORAxKAIRI. Look, I'm not against yaoi or anything, but there's enough of it out there. Let's have some variety.)

RoxasxNamine (Look at the pairing above. No brainer.)

Fushigi Yuugi

TamahomexMiaka (Jeez, what's it gotta take for Yuu Watase's fans to write CANON PAIRINGS? No, it's all HotohorixMiaka... /griping)

NurikoxHotohori (Unrequited love makes my heart go flutter. That's right, it's the first shonen-ai pairing that I'm openly supporting. Go me.)

NakagoxYui (This is about as dark as I like to get, as far as my taste in pairings goes. Like SasuSaku, only more abusive. A happy ending will ruin this one.)

Fushigi Yuugi: Genbuu Kaiden

UrukixTakiko (Also known as UruKiko. Or UruTa. Or none of these, I just like making up these abbreviated names.)

The Breakfast Club

JohnxClaire (Or as I like to call it, BendAire. Possibly ClaBen. Told you I liked to make up those names.)

AndyxAllison (As long as Allison isn't suddenly a delicate little preppy flower. The beauty of this pairing lies in her eccentricity.)

Maximum Ride

FangxMax (Fax is just... divine. One of the best pairings in the whole of fandom.)

IggyxNudge (Not sure why, but I like it. It's cute in an oddball kind of way.)

House, M.D.

HousexCuddy (that's right, HUDDY. It's takin' over, mothafucka.)

ChasexCameron (D'awwwww.)

Bones

BoothxBrennan (this cannot be denied. It CANNOT.)

HodginsxAngela (I know, I know, they broke up, but this pairing is positively gorgeous. And hey, I think there's been some hinting that we haven't seen the last of it...)

ZackxOC (Naturally it's gotta be done well, which could be difficult, especially considering it's Zack. But it would totally be worth it.)

SweetsxOC (Yeah, I know he's with Daisy, and that's fine and good for canon purposes. But every once in a while I like to see him in a pairing that doesn't involve ridiculous nicknames.)

WendellxOC (Because Wendell is FREAKING AWESOME. He's just the right combination between serious, dorky, and normal. And he needs some love.)

Rant of the Hour: Sakura owns ALL!! (Warning: Mature language)

Honestly. When these bitches learn? SAKURA KICKS ASS.

I mean, it seems like these days that people are tearing her down for every little thing she does. Even with the advent of Shippuden, there are still people who are calling her weak and useless! It's called HER FIGHT WITH SASORI, sucka!! And Sasori himself--one of the most dangerous ninja ever--says that Sakura is a great kunoichi!

Let's look at the facts. Okay, so at the start of the series, she was definitely not the strongest character--at least not physically. But she did have some merits that were acknowledged by skilled ninja who knew talent when they saw it, like Kakashi. Kakashi does point out that Sakura has chakra control that surpasses even Sasuke's. I will admit that she was the weakest link in the Zabuza Arc--but you can't deny that the girl has courage. Even before the Chuunin exams, she had lived through situations that would make us normal people shit our pants, and she was prepared to do her duty even if it meant her life. And yes, she does say 'Sasuke-kun!' a whole helluva lot during the Zabuza Arc--but seeing as how he was her teammate/crush and he was in MORTAL DANGER half the fucking time, I think you'd be saying 'Sasuke-kun!', too! So I don't wanna hear that as an excuse for hating her!

It also becomes apparent that even though Sakura does have a massive crush on Sasuke, she is NOT some spineless delicate little flower. I think she flatters Sasuke and tries to act girly around him because that's what she thinks he wants. She's only 12, people--Sasuke is her first love, and she's still trying to figure these things out. But this girly persona clashes with her true self: the willful, outspoken girl who doesn't put up with any crap from stupid, immature boys. That's probably the whole point of Inner Sakura; it shows that underneath the thin veneer of fluff there's a tough girl who has an attitude and a brain and isn't scared to show it. Sakura feels like she somehow has to change herself to appeal to Sasuke, but as she grows she realizes that this isn't the case. During the Chuunin Exams, in the Forest of Death, there's a point where Sasuke is prepared to hand over their scroll to the disguised Orochimaru--but Sakura's got something to say about that. Yes, all you people who think she would never be able to criticize Sasuke because she's a stupid bimbo, chew on this: SHE TELLS HIM WHAT IS FUCKING WHAT. Sakura says that the fact that Sasuke was even thinking about handing over the scroll is disgraceful; she says that even Naruto, the number one hyperactive knucklehead ninja, would never give up the scroll without a fight. She has enough of a brain--more than enough of a brain--to realize that Sasuke isn't perfect, and she's got enough guts to tell it to him straight up.

And then comes a great scene: the cutting of Sakura's hair. Some people say: "Big deal. She cut her hair, oooh, I'm so scared!" Well, since when was hair-cutting supposed to be taken as a JUTSU? If you thought THAT was supposed to be her secret-weapon jutsu, you're even dumber than I thought. No, Sakura cutting her hair is more symbolic than that. Earlier in a flashback she'd heard that Sasuke liked girls with long hair, and that's why she grew hers so long. Cutting her hair marks a big change in her character--it's the point where she realizes that she has been weak and dependent on Sasuke and Naruto, and decides that she's had enough. She slices off those long pink strands that took so much time to grow, showing that she will no longer be so superficial simply because of Sasuke; she won't let her life revolve around her crush on him any longer. The time has come for Sakura to show her stuff, and prove that she can truly be strong.

I hear a lot of bullshit about the fight scene afterwards, usually from the same people who said 'big deal, she cut her hair'. Well excuuuuuuuuse-fucking-me! What were you expecting? 'Lyk OMG Sakura ttly has this demnoon seeld insyde her but no1 nu bout it! xDlolzroflcopter!' Or maybe, 'She's got the Sharingan/Byakugan/some other wacky-ass bloodline limit even though she's THE FIRST NINJA IN HER FAMILY!!' Well I got news for ya: that would make her a MARY-SUE. Do you want Sakura to be a Mary-Sue? THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT, BITCH!! Sakura does the best with what she's got--her brains. Using only the substitution jutsu, she manages to catch Zaku completely off-guard and throws him to the ground; and damn, when she bites him she does not let go. Even as he beats her about the head, even as she bleeds from at least three different knife wounds, the girl hangs on. If that is not courage, I don't know what is.

From there we move on to her fight with Ino. I guess some of you whiny bitches still aren't satisfied with Sakura's skill as a ninja at this point. To see my response to that, see lines 1-4 of the above paragraph. I don't know if any of you guys take martial arts, but I do, and Sakura and Ino's fight was pretty much the only realistic fight in that whole damn preliminary round. There's a brief bit of dialogue between them, and it's not just empty bragging (like in Naruto and Kiba's fight); they're playing mind games with each other, seeing who cracks first and making sure that there's no holding back on either side. But for most of the fight, it's knock-down, drag-out Taijutsu--and that lasts for ten whole minutes. Believe me, that's a damn long time to fight someone full strength. Then we get to the cool part. Sakura manages to make Ino lose it so badly that she attempts her Shintenshin no Jutsu, a technique that would never work in this setting...or so we think. When Ino succeeds in taking over Sakura's body, it looks like it's all over. But as I've said, Sakura is no pansy. By sheer force of willpower alone, she breaks Ino's jutsu--something considered to be impossible. Sakura has invested her whole being in this fight--and by the way, the fight is not over Sasuke. It's about proving that Sakura can stand on her own two feet and that she's an even match for the girl she once idolized. And prove it she does.

In the space between the prelims and the final round, we get to see a gentler side of Sakura's character. She visits Lee in the hospital and brings him flowers, showing that she's capable of compassion. Yes, all you Sakura-haters; Sakura has a heart! Imagine that. She may have been bitchy to Naruto and Lee at the start, but when she learns more about them as people she realizes she was wrong, and becomes their trusted friend. Sakura also works to improve her ninja skills; by the final round, she can release a genjutsu cast by an ANBU-level ninja--not something every genin can do. And her courage hasn't diminished in the least. When Gaara tries to attack the paralyzed Sasuke, she jumps right in front of him with no hesitation, even though she knows she has no chance against Gaara.

But Sakura's emotional strength is incredible. When Sasuke leaves, Sakura tries with all her heart to keep him in the village. If that fails, she's prepared to go with him and leave her whole life behind. She even makes a desperate confession and tells him how much she loves him... but he goes anyway, without her. And when Naruto fails to bring him back, her last bit of hope of seeing Sasuke again vanishes. Just like that, a person who was such a big part of her life was torn from her. This boy who had protected her, who had reassured her, who had been through life-or-death situations with her, was gone. To be able to pick up with your life after that takes remarkable strength of character, and I'm sure it wasn't easy for her. But somehow she made it through those two years, and when next we see her, she has not only survived without Sasuke, but thrived.

Let no one, no one say that Sakura is weak or useless any longer. Through hard work as Tsunade's apprentice, she has become a truly amazing kunoichi. Or did you miss how she reduced a boulder to rubble with a single punch? Were you not there when she saved Kankurou's life with her medical jutsu? Don't tell me that you missed her fight with Sasori. "But!" You whiny little tards may say, "She didn't fight him by herself! Chiyo-obaasama did all the work!" Well, I have to disagree with you on that. Chiyo is a great puppet master, I'm not going to deny that; but if it wasn't for Sakura's skill in Taijutsu, Sasori would have been the winner of that battle. Throughout that battle, Sakura shows her famous determination and sticks with Chiyo until the very end. If she was as wimpy and weak as many of you bitches seem to think, she would have turned tail before Sasori even emerged from Hiruko. But she lent her skills to Chiyo and together they defeated him. "So?" You respond. "She let herself be controlled. What's so great about that?" But I think you forget, sucka, about when the Third Kazekage was out. Using strategy and strength, and with no help from Chiyo, Sakura smashed it to bits. And in the chaos of the Ten Puppets versus a Hundred, Sakura's quick fists were just as useful as Chiyo's puppets. It was Sakura who was packing the antidote that she herself created; and it was Sakura who took a hit from a poisoned weapon to save Chiyo, even when her antidote had run out. And even as she stood there, with a sword run through her gut, she held on, and refused to give in. It was that stubborn tenacity, that fierce strength, that keen intelligence that Sasori himself recognized and commended. He, who had seen so many battles and so many lethal shinobi, knew that Sakura was truly exceptional.

And if you would only open your eyes, you would know that too.

Progressions of Stories

(aka the 'When the HELL am I going to update?' section)

Five Pointed Star: ON HIATUS--but not without good reason. I think I've learned my lesson about posting works in progress; when writer's block hits you just before the plot kicks into gear, all that happens is that you lose the readers' interest. So I'm going to finish writing the whole thing first, then update all the new chapters at once. Of course I don't know how long that will take, so don't wait up for me; but if you should happen to come across the finished version, feel free to take a look.

Triple Entente: HA HA, so it's been months before an update. My bad, but hey, that's life in a competitive high school, right? Right?! The story is never far from my mind, though, so I promise I will finish it up eventually.

Learning Your Opponent: I'm considering changing the title of this one and making it a series of non-romantic Naruto one-shots. Kind of a, 'moments you never saw' type deal, from varying characters' perspectives. I'd like the chance to branch out and get away from the romance genre a little.

Ideas Still Formulating

(aka the 'Crap-you-probably-won't-see-for-another-year-or-so' section)

Naruto Fic That Has No Title--YET!: In a city where the division between decadent wealth and crippling poverty is marked in blood, a new generation is rising--and they want change. First, though, they must question what they've been taught about how the other half lives. Prophecies will be fullfilled, a regime will be toppled, and hope will blossom in the rubble. AU, NaruHina, SasuSaku, NejiTen, ShikaTema, GaaOC, slight KibaIno. Expect some fantasy tones mixed with a smidgem of sci-fi.

Untitled SDK Fic: Sachi Ashifue doesn't even like history, but when she accidentally falls down a well while visiting a shrine, she'll just have to deal with it as she finds herself four years into the Edo period. But with only a blonde-haired bounty huntress to relay her problems to, she might just drown in testosterone before finding a way back home. KyoYuya and HotaruOC, with possible BenitoraMahiro; microscopic IY crossover. As in the bone eater's well and the Higurashi shrine pop up once.

Pictures of Africa (OHSHC): Tentative title. Consider Suou Tamaki: bachelor, freelance journalist, and photographer for National Geographic. He lives life single and free--but when he gets assigned to the Central African Republic to photograph the ongoing slaughter of elephants by poachers, everything changes. In his team is none other than Fujioka Haruhi, the Dian Fossey of elephants. At first he's unimpressed--but as his camera captures the majesty of the pachyderms, so he is captured by Haruhi's own majesty. TamakixHaruhi, betch! Also featuring appearances from the rest of the Host Club, naturally.

The Last of Their Kind: Wild, carefree Christopher doesn't remember his prostitute mother--and he frankly doesn't care. He's having too much fun with his father: the one and only Captain Jack Sparrow. Shy, intelligent Samuel feels estranged from his own father, who he only sees for one day every ten years. His mother is much more precious to him, though he finds it hard to believe that once she was the Queen of Pirates. Different as they are, these boys are the best of friends, and heirs to the most notorious pirate names of the age. Their pedigrees should enusure that no one bests them in matters of piracy; but when two self-made buccaneers sail into Port Royal, the worlds of these two boys are flipped upside down. The reason? These new players just happen to be female... OCxOC, OCxOC, a second-generation POTC story.
