Hi, my name is MJ or, if you want to use my pen name, fluffyblackcloud. I'm just your average internet addicted Gen Y with an overactive imagination and a love for writing. I'm always working on my original writings but also do a bit of fanfiction on the side, just because I love sharing stories with people and it helps to improve my writing skills :) I'm currently doing a full time university course so while the semester is running I don't have very much time at all for fanfiction but I do have long breaks between semesters in which I should have more time for fanfics.

Stories In Progress

Streets of Misfortune- While Gotham deals with the aftermath of the disaster that was Arkham City, Robin is left to deal with a Batman who seems to have lost his purpose.

My first attempt at writing anything Batman, hopefully I don't butcher it :P Will be multi chapter and Robin-centric, a continuation of the Arkham City game.

Interdependence- Dave thought training himself was hard. Wait until he meets the new recruits... Written for the Balthy 100.

Interdependence is a sereis of interconnecting one-shots which looks at what happens when Balthazar and Veronica start training two more apprentices. This was just a fun little idea that popped into my head when reading about the Balthy 100 challenge. The fact that each chapter can be almost stand alone is great because it means I can write a lot more freely than if I was doing a full on plotted story. Updates for this will probably be quite erratic (sometimes I'll update a lot, other times it may take me ages to get a chapter out) but I do intend to write something for all one hundred of the prompts.

Hate was my very first published fanfic so even though my writing has progressed heaps since then I still have a soft spot for it. It focuses on a OC but I was very determined to make this OC a realistic character that people would like because I was sick of all the cliché OC's or Mary-sues that show up in fanfics. I think I pulled it off and people seemed to like the story so I was happy :)

After a half year break from fanfic writing while I finished my last year of high school I decided to read through Hate again just for the hell of it and realized there was a lot more I could have done with the story. I started writing Hate over three years ago now and since then my writing has improved and my ideas developed. A couple of months ago I stated planning the sequel but decided that a re-write of Hate would probably be needed to help set up the sequel properly. What you can look forward to in the re-write is corrected spelling and grammar errors that I missed when correcting the first time, better development of original characters personalities, extra chapters elaborating on 'the prank war' and an overall better quality story.

I'm a bit maybe/maybe not on this idea but I do have some ideas for a sequel to Hate. I don't know if or when I’ll start writing it but the idea is there and we'll just have to see how it turns out.
