This is the deprived product of two days of work and I'm sure it's going to get hammered, but whatever. I had way too much fun writing it. I'm going back to drafting chapter 16 of GoK. I have a few things in the works including chapter 16 so I hope to have something out soon. Random Musing(s): Was re-watching some Code Geass episodes the other day and couldn't help but be amused by... well a lot of things. For one, Lelouch might be a genius but he's no chess genius. I understand the symbolism, but I can't help but wonder if the writers ever even played a single match before. No, I'm not talking about that scene in episode 9 when Schneizel moved his king into check and then said "checkmate" when Lelouch's king had an escape square - though that was hilarious as well. I'm actually thinking about the very first episode when our protagonist declared that "the king must lead" and then promptly moved his majesty. Now, there are good and sufficient theoretical reasons why this isn't such a hot idea. (The opposite is generally recommended - i.e. tucking the king into a corner via castling.) But I think this three move game illustrates most clearly and concisely what could happen when "the king leads."Clicky! Do enjoy the anime and I recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it, but don't (amongst other things) take chess lessons from Lelouch. You will be disappointed with the result. Naruto Fanfic Community I've set up a Naruto fanfic archive called Naruto 2000 Plus. I made it when I noticed I was looking through the 1000+ community quite often but don't care much for non-Naruto centric stories. I'm not really looking for staff since there aren't that many stories that fit my criterias but who knows. I'm also taking suggestions for stories that fit the bill including any yaoi fics. This is an archive and not necessarily a favorite list. Note that I mentioned conditions, not rules so things are flexible. For example, active stories (updated within the last month or two) with a review count close to 2,000 (19xx) can also be added.
