Author has written 7 stories for X-Men, and Harry Potter. I'm indulging one of my dirty little secrets - I actually read, write and enjoy fanfiction. Most of my Fic never sees the light of day (for which we are all happy), as most of it is unadulterated hurt/comfort trash. Some of it will be posted, when I get around to it. Favored subjects: Nightcrawler from X-Men, and recently an interest in Severus Snape from HP. Since there seems to be some interest in it, in the real world I work for a patent agent, specializing in high technology patents, specifically concerning semiconductor manufacturing. Evidently, it requires a certain type of mind to find the subject interesting. Fortunately, whichever part of my brain that can proof and edit patent appeals and find it enjoyable,is also hard at work generating hurt/comfort and angst, with the occasional foray into romantic fluff. What can I say? I'm just that kind of girl. =) Further Updates: The most irritating thing about fanfiction is that the authors of our favorite canon will go and write another book, thus rendering the fan-written works that we've been enjoying (sometimes more than the canon) obsolete and firmly embedded into an Alternate Universe. Darn those writers anyway! This is, of course, a long way of saying that Ashen and Sober Skies will be completed, regardless of that silly Rowling lady who had to go and write another book.
