~~~Profile Update!!~~~ 7/8/11

I certainly disappeared for a while didn't I? Neh, moved to a different state on my own and fighting with the local college to let me go to classes without paying out-of-state tuition. Seriously? That's an extra $3000 dollars I don't have. Anywho. I've got several new things happening, so be sure to be checking back here for updates. I still won't promise that updates will be on a schedule, much less frequent, but we'll see what happens.

I am super excited to inform all of you that I won an Award for Literary Excellence at my college for a short story I submitted to the school paper! Not only was my short story, and another poem published, but I also won a nifty Certificate and a hundred dollars! Woo-hoo! =)

Every Christmas season I dedicate a day to baking cookies...about 300 of them, all from scratch. Umm...I secretely wear rainbow knee socks underneath my all black work uniform occasionally, makes me feel sneaky. =)

I really don't watch anime or read manga anymore. (Sadness). For some odd reason though, InuYasha and Ouran High School Host Club are still near and dear to my heart. Which I find odd that those are the only two I'll still watch. Even though I have a sudden rekindled interest in Naruto. Oh well, ramblings aside...

About Me:

I am currently a college student, struggling my way through mountains of books, hopefully to make my self seem smarter then I actually am. I live...somewhere in the U.S. In a state that gets far too hot for its own good. I used to live in Maine, which was cold...very very very cold. I love reading and writing, which explains why my major in college is English with a minor in History. I still haven't been able to decide what I want to do after college. I would love to publish a book, but I'm not sure if my writing is that good...yet. Whenever I write I tend to focus on humor. Why? Because it makes me giggle. I absolutely adore getting reviews! I LIVE off of them! They are like the marshmallow to my smore...thing...except I dont' like smores...this analogy isn't working anymore...

Story Status: (Updated 7/8/11)

The Circus Comes to Ouran!: Chapter ten has been posted! The computer is still acting up. Turns out my battery is completely capoot. (Capoot? Is that a word?) So I had to buy a new cord, which only partially solved the problem. Now it stays on, as long as I Don't. Move. It. At. All. Eventually I am going to have to break down and buy a new battery. But between bills, school books, and other misc. expenses, it's really sitting on the back burner. Anywho, the story plot gets slightly sketchy from this point forward. There are several different ways the plot could develop from here, and I have been toying with all of them to see which I like best...so we might be seeing some filler while I work on it. (Oh dear, I just got flashbacks to over half of the Naruto anime...) The good news is, I have decided to post all the random fun scenes I have had to cut due to space and relevance to plot under the title "Spazztastic Scenes". These scenes will be quick updates that do not have to meet my ten page chapter criteria, so hopefully ya'll will no longer have to wait four months for an update. Woot. Woot.

The Half Demon Toddlers: I read over this story and was almost embarrassed at how terribly awful the beginning chapters were. In my mind, it really doesn't matter how great the later chapters are, if the beginning chapters are poor, whose going to stick around to get to the better chapters? I've decided to re-write the story, so if you look in my stories, you'll see the new posting of the updated version of HDT! I'm fixing grammar, plotholes, and overall lameness. Hopefully this won't take too terribly long. Once I catch up on all sixteen chapters, I'm going to delete the old version. All extra chapters that don't belong (like Chapter 5: Chicken! and the special Thanksgiving chapter) will be moved over to a collection of one-shots I will be starting especially for this story. I would really appreciate if everyone who has favorited the original HDT will go ahead and favorite the new re-write, and leave reviews. I would greatly appreciate knowing what everyone thinks of this change, or if I'm just wasting my time.

The Half Demon Toddlers Rewrite: Chapter four is still in progress. (I only have like...four pages...I'm so ashamed!) It's taking me longer though, because I'm basically throwing out the entire chapter out and starting over from scratch...fun. But what I have so far makes me happy, I am still happy that this story is being re-written! So there!
