Hey all.

We are three best friend authors, who decided to band together and make a joint FFNet account. Here's a bit on all of us.

Cathy changed the avi (thankfully) so hopefully no one will get traumatized by the smiley face anymore :D

I'm Ashu, the less-smarter one of the original duo. I really, really love writing, especially fantasy. I write both fanfiction and original fiction. Besides writing, I also really like drawing, singing, playing instruments (anything's fine by me, but I'm a violinist), bike riding, watching movies, reading, swimming, basketball and baseball (never in a league-just the neighborhood with my 'brothers'), and running. Oh yeah. I can also get writer's block really easy, which bugs the heck out of me.

My favorite books include: Harry Potter (all), Pendragon (all), The Thief Lord, Inkheart, Inkspell, Twilight, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Chosen, Second Glance, The da Vinci Code, Digital Fortress, Cirque du Freak, some Mercedes Lackey books.

My favorite movies include: Star Wars (classic trilogy), Lord of the rings (all three), Indiana Jones (Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade), Casablanca, Roman Holiday, ET, The Lion King, Titanic, Schindler's List, The Sixth Sense, Twelve Angry Men, a bunch of Indian films, a bunch of other Disney films (TLK tops it), and Miss Congeniality. Chick flicks amuse me. I'll watch scary movies as long as a nice boy is next to me ;)

As for TV shows. Heh. I like Gilmore Girls, Danny Phantom, and...yeah. That's actually all I have time for

Update: Wow. Eight chapters and fifty-eight reviews and almost two years of work are gone. I'm sorry. But "The Snapshot" will return.

Now, on to Cathy, the brains behind all of this (which I am NOT, Ashu).

~I am Cathy. I love fantasy, period. As long as it's not really straight forward or something like "bob goes to the movies and saw a faerie who cast a spell on him and makes him live happily ever after", I am usually fine with it. Besides reading I also love playing the piano, swimming, math, and playing computer games. I want to make them, but I don't have the graphics & animating skills =(.

My favorite books include Harry Potter (all, though I think the 5th-7th books are not as well-written as the first four), His Dark Materials trilogy, Ella Enchanted, and a few more I can't name off the top of my head. I like Garth Nix's writing. Twilight is okay. I really don't like how the 4th book is written... and it felt like the 2nd and 3rd books dragged on too much.

I don't watch movies that often but I like Incredibles, Ratatouille, Mulan, Finding Neverland, KungFu Panda, LoTR, and many of the Jackie Chan/Jet Li movies (as long as they didn't translate it). I really hated that Twilight movie. I like the first 2 HP movies. And then HP lost his adorable-ness for this kind of ego-inflated look that's on my list of things to avoid. I love Castle in the Sky and Spirited away. Princess Mononoke's a little deep for a cartoon, but Ashitaka's really cute XD. I want to see Howl's moving Castle. Chick flicks are hilarious. I can't stand scary movies unless there's a nice somebody beside me who'll allow me to cower and hide... and most likely put me to sleep afterwards =D.

When the captain of her current ship failed to take her warnings seriously, it was taken over by the pirate ship. Aboard was Captain Edward Cullen, who had sworn to never let one woman, other than his immediate family, onto his ship. What can Bella do to prove her worth before she is discovered? ExB.

Future story idea(s):

Finding a Lily: Bella and Edward are best friends since they were really young. When she was 9, she was found to have the same disease that killed her mother when she was born - acute cardiac failure. She was forbidden to ever participate in sports; the doctors have very little faith in her living for more than fifteen years. At the same time, Edward's family had to leave for Chicago. His only gift for her was a lily in a small glass vial and a promise that he'd come back to look for her in ten years. Could Edward find Bella again before her disease takes her away forever? Would their childhood crushes develop into something more if they meet again? How could Bella be saved? ExB; loosely following the plot of "Ambrose" - a movie.

When you Tame a Vampire: There are two truths in this world: The Magi are a powerful clan with influence in court; and, the Vampires have always been against Magi rule, as they were the original descendants from Kings. Meet Bella, the only surviving daughter of an outer branch of the Magi whose family has been rumored to be slaughtered by a Vampire clan. She grew up wallowing in the hatred of the Devil Vampire, Edward Cullen, who was the Vampire who killed her family. However, when Edward unknowningly saves Bella (thinking her a mere country girl) when he saw her fighting off a band of raiders, he never thought that Bella Swan of Clan Magi will be a center his life will revolve around... that is, if Bella can bring him out of his hatred and help him stop the war before her Magi family destroys them all. Could Edward ever look beyond the name? Could Bella? All are human.

Something to Fight For: Bella always lived peacefully and happily as the Chief's daughter in one of the small tribes of the Chinook Indians. No one knew her mother, though, but they all had their suspicions, for Bella was white - whiter than even most of the fur traders that wandered into their part of the forest. She had just turned 17, was happily in love with Jacob, whose father was Chief Swan's friend and adviser, and who was the best warrior of them all. It all came crashing down upon her when the white traders came in, got into a fight, and killed of most of all she knew. Angry and desperate, she disguised herself as a man and a spy among the ranks of a young Colonel Cullen, who led raids against the coming settlers and amazing victories with his small band of 50 against troops of over 500. As she came to love the ragtag band, especially its leader, her original plans to protect her homeland dissipated. What was a fight for revenge and her home now became a fight for everything she came to love... All human.

I've shipped Powser for YEARS...long before I ever knew what a "ship" was or anything like that. The ideas in Change of Heart and in future stories (I hope!) have been in my head for years, too...it was ONE STORY that convinced me to get off my tail and put them on the internet...one brave girl who wrote a romantic, but poorly written story about them that helped my life change just a bit. She deleted that story, and I don't think I'll ever find it. So please, remember to just write whatever you're thinking...even if you don't think you're good, or won't get attention, or no one will understand...maybe you're that rockstar author who is going to change someone's life with your bravery. /soapbox

Currently, it has underwent 5 huge site revamps and lots of stuff on there (it's no longer as messy as it was before :).
