Greetings! I'm White Butterfly, member of this site. And since I can't think of anything else to write here is some kind of profile thing.

Name: Chloe meaning "small green shoot". In other words grass.
Other names: Grass_angel on LJ; Song_of_fire on Gaia online; Grassangel on deviantart.
Gender: Female. (I'm an obsessive fan. What are the chances of me NOT being female?)
Age: 18
Location: New Zealand
Western zodiac: Libra
Eastern zodiac: Metal horse with fixed element of positive fire.

Favourite Anime/Manga: xxxHOLiC at the moment. But I also get slightly obsessed at any of these:
Bleach, Cardcaptors, One Piece, Fullmetal Alchemist, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, Spice and Wolf, Zombie Loan, Gundam Seed and basically anything else I've watched.
Favourite Book: Of all time: Spellfall by Catherine Roberts. Currently: Corambis by Sarah Monette
Favourite Authors: Diana Wynne Jones, Terry Pratchett, Catherine Roberts, J.K. Rowling (somewhere on the list), Eoin Colfer, Neil Gaiman, Sarah Monette, Jennifer Rardin, Tamora Pierce, Meg Cabot/Jenny Carol, Holly Black, Sophie Mason and a WHOLE lot more.
Favourite Music: Anything by Linkin park, FictionJunction, Yuki Kajiura, Nightwish, Within temptation or Evanescence.
Favourite TV/Movies: The Jacket, Mirrormask, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, V for Vendetta. Bones, Mythbusters, Antiques Roadshow UK, Torchwood, Doctor Who.

Currently I am enrolled in a Culinary Arts course as well as doing other bits of education. I am also in a bit of a writer's rut in which I can't get the stories down right. I also seem to be reading more than I am writing...

A note on my rating system

I use the New Zealand Censorship rating system which (in order of lowest to highest) goes:
G (general audiences, K equivalent),
PG (parental guidence recomended, K+ equivalent),
M (for mature audiences, loosely T equivalent),
R13 (restricted to audiences over thirteen years of age, loosely T equivalent),
R16 (restricted to audiences over sixteen years of age, roughly around the same level as M/R),
R18 (restricted to audiences over eighteen years of age, roughly the same level as M/NC-17).
