Author has written 14 stories for Harry Potter. sometimes I live my life through dreams To me, good writing isn’t necessarily about spelling or correct grammar. I know tons of people who are able to spell and conjugate their verbs right. Writing, in all its insincerity and truth, becomes great when it is yours, and yours alone. The day people recognise your style out of a million other stories, is the day you’ll know you’ve achieved a greater level of writing than simply describing a landscape in five different metaphors. You’ll have created something that’s entirely your own. People favouriting without reviewing. I understand people alerting without saying anything, because alerting usually means that you're interested and still waiting for what's going to happen next. Favouriting, au contraire, means that you really like a story. It takes time to write. Reviews make the time worthwhile. 2. People criticising/flaming my stories anonymously. If you want to complain, at least have the guts to let me defend myself. Tearing people down anonymously (and directly, since these reviews go straight to my e-mail) is pathetic on so many levels I would be ashamed to be the one doing it.
