Hello, everyone.

I've been around FFNet for many years, most of them just spent lurking. The time for fan writing has come to an end, however. I am retired, or at least on indefinite hiatus. Thanks for all the support.

Completed Projects (listed chronologically)

I. Antipode (set 2009-2010)
Post-Carnival ShizNat drama about rebuilding trust, essentially. A prequel to the Kyoto Hunt, though you don't have to read one to understand the other.

II. The Kyoto Hunt (set 2014)
A Mai HiME sequel meant to connect HiME and Otome together, which hopefully does so in a somewhat realistic way. It takes place five years after the original series, with the HiME all in hiding under false names to avoid capture by Searrs. I never did see them as having a picture perfect ending. Mai is attacked by a woman wearing a strange robe who can materialize weapons, and it will soon be discovered that the HiME now have to contend with the Five Columns, subjects of Searrs' new X-Type HiME "Otome" Project. After five years, the women unite to try and stop this new enemy and put Searrs out of commission for good. ShizNat, mainly, but the spotlight is shared by most of the main characters of the series.

III. Mai Kisaki (set 3425)
Takes place a few years after Mai Otome, and is a distant sequel to "The Kyoto Hunt." No relation to Otome Zwei. The final bridge is built between the Otome and HiME series. After seeing two 'comets' streak across the skies, the Otome of Garderobe assemble with the leaders of the world after discovering that Earth, previously thought to be an abandoned wasteland, is still home to a large host of the original Otome. Two of these old world maidens plead with Garderobe to assist them in a war that has raged for generations - a war against the HiME. While all goes well at first, the Ikusahime from the Final Carnival who have been resurrected as Otome begin to reawaken. Their HiME symbols return. They become split on which side they belong to. Civil war begins in Garderobe as Archmeister Viola rebels against Headmistress Kruger, each choosing opposite sides. And that's just one problem of many.

The Calm (2007 - 2015 or so)
A collection of various HiME short stories, ranging from comedy to drama to romance. Something of a companion piece to the above stories. Each chapter takes place in different years. Most of them are just random things I felt the urge to write.

So You Wanna Be a HiME Ranger (separate timeline from above stories)
Mai HiME comedy centered around Midori and her crazy ranger antics. Ten codes of conduct for the HiME to follow during all conflicts, or else. A second chapter about the Otome has been added, and I think I'm calling it good. At least for this particular fic. More comedy in the future may follow. ;)
