Author has written 37 stories for Teen Idol, A-List, CSI: New York, CSI, Grey's Anatomy, Gilmore Girls, Merlin, and Harry Potter. Hi, everyone. I've decided to make a tiny effort today, so I'm revamping my lovely profile. Forgive me as I'm never sure of what to say here - I'd most probably end up rambling! My real name is Cordelia. My mom decided to name me after her favorite character from Shakespeare's King Lear. I swear, I'm less pretentious than the name suggests. In fact, most people I know would call me a dork. I love to write more than anything - it's therapeutic for me - and find myself becoming inspired after seeing a good movie, reading a good book or seeing an old couple walk by across the street. I just hope that, one of these days, I'll inspire you too. I currently attend an IB school in Hong Kong and English is my first language. I'm 16 years old (or young, depending on how you see it), but have began writing since 2005 and as awful as my earlier fics were, I'm still here and still writing. Falling in love with CSI: NY's Danny and Lindsay at a younger age, that particular ship introduced me to the ins and outs of fandom. However, after the unspeakable in Season 4, I've come to realize that I cannot love the pairing as much as I used to. I have now branched out to other fandoms, writing for many of them. If you asked me what sort of person I am, I'll tell you that I am incredibly stubborn, fiercely loyal and very much sarcastic. While I'm open-minded and enjoy listen to other people's views, I'm inflexible to a point where there is little to be done in order to sway me. I can be both cynical and pessimistic at times, but I'm also hopeful and friendly. I'm also a perfectionist, which is why it pains me to re-read some of my old fanfiction in order to go back to edit, since my writing has drastically changed in the past few years. I'm incredibly weird and clumsy. There are many things I love to do, such as reading and writing. I love travelling as well, experiencing exciting cultures and going out of my comfort zone. I love learning about ethics and philosophy. Watching movies and television are also two of my favorite things as are yoga and cross-country. As much as I enjoy writing, it has been difficult to sit down and actually type out all the ideas in my head. The workload at school is insane and while I have many, different ideas... I can barely organize any of my thoughts. That being said, I'm writing from time to time... Meanwhile, I'm also working on a piece of original fiction to be posted at Livejournal. It’ll be my first attempt at bad fantasy writing. As of now, I'm also working on another Merlin fic with Arthur and Morgana in the foreground.
