Well, I thought if I'm going to post stories I might tell you a little about myself.
I'm a 40 year old wife and mom of four. Our 3 sons and 1 daughter range in age from 6 to 19.
I found fanfiction purely by accident. I was searching the internet about "A Walk to Remember" and came across fanfiction. The first story I ever read was "Dinner and a Movie" by Jamie Sommers on the AWTR site. Still one of the best stories I've ever read, published or not!
From there it went to One Tree Hill (I loved Peyton and Jake at the time so henceforth my name, jeytonlover) and then somehow, I stumbled upon LWD. At that time it was still buried in the Misc. section and there were about 5 pages and only eighty something stories at the time. I read n1c0le's story "Tangled" and I was hooked.
Now you might wonder, what is a 40-year-old wife and mother doing reading Disney stories. Well, I'm not really sure. The Disney Channel is constantly on at least one television in my home, but really I think it's Dasey. For some reason, I can't help but love the idea of Derek and Casey together.
I have made so many great LWD ff friends on here. And the fact that they're so accepting of me (I have no doubt that I'm the oldest one on here) is amazing. I love talking back and forth with you guys.
If I had one piece of advice for someone who wants to start writing on here it would be this, reply to your reviews. I'm absolutely one hundred percent certain that is the reason why I get such wonderful responses to my stories. Plus, if you don't, you'll miss out on meeting some really incredible people.
