Update as of December 22, 2008

I hope you all are having a good holiday break. I'll be using this time for rest, catching up on work and maybe starting my new fic.

Age: Same Age as that of Lloyd Irving.

Lately, I've been getting back into Tales of Symphonia. I've had that game for over 4 years and I can't believe I've never gone through the whole game twice. I've also been reading some pretty good fanfiction. Writers just keep getting better and better.

I'd like to recommend A Single Drop of Purity, a collaboration between Holyknightsteve and Spiritua Masquerade. And the pairing is interesting and may catch your attention: It's between a certain auburn-haired seraphim and Sylvarant's chosen. Don't be entirely turned off by that pairing though-the story in itself is a very detailed and a great read. I look forward to seeing it updated.

Pairings: Now I've never done this before, but I might as well. I look for interesting and usually out of the ordinary pairings that can still work when put to use in good writing. But canon pairings are okay for me as well.

(ToS) MithosxColette - I've only seen this done once, but I've thought about it-that maybe in a friendship sense, it could work.

Woah. I guess I haven't been here for like...two years. Anyway, this is the week of finals, and its a real drag. (Shikamaru moment) I can't promise much of anything to others, let alone myself, but I actually might update the TMM story.

Books

Class readings:

All Quiet on the Western Front -At a time of romantic war novels, this gave a new perspective to the World War. "Death is least of all an adventure."

Lord of the Flies-Boys stranded on an Island, seeming at first to be fun..

Inherit the Wind- Big debate on two very important topics which occured in Tennessee.

The Scarlet Letter-I know, at first glance, its boring. But reading on, I could tell there was more to the story...I don't care if others found it dull.

Secret Life of Bees-Read it, loved it, except for the dialectical journal part of it.

Huckleberry Finn-One of the most top banned books of its time. Read it and enjoyed it despite the limited time given to finish it. I still have around 25 journals and explications on it that were due last Wednes. Ouch.

Baten Kaitos: Story of the Holy Thing

Thinking about starting on: Feminine Masculinity -Naruto- (Finished the drama. Now time to put the story to work. Please see polls at the top of this page.)

Here's a preview of said story. I know I'm being risky as I'm putting this up in case I...but nevermind. This piece needs some work. I've never written Naruto fanfiction in my life, but I attempted just this once.

“Hey little brother. I came to see you. How are you holding up?”

Sasuke attempted to smile at the visitor as he came in, but it came out more as a grimace.

“Terrific. The room has officially stopped swirling, and I guess my insides are still intact. So, where have you been off to, my dearest Itachi?” He spoke rather dryly.

Itachi faltered a bit, then shrugged it off.

“Oh, right…right. Of course, you wouldn’t have known.”

He flopped himself down by a nearby waiting chair.

“You missed it. I got married.”

Sasuke raised an eyebrow, and then mock-glared at him.

“You went off to your little happy gathering while I laid here unconscious with a bullet in my gut? Very considerate of you nii-san.”

“Aw, don’t get too mad. You probably wouldn’t have liked it anyway; all the preparations for the wedding were rather…stuffy. You know how the bride needs to have everything absolutely perfect, and even more so her mom... And besides, think yourself lucky, considering...”

Itachi leaned over and lowered his voice.

“…considering Miss Haruno didn’t make it.”
