Hello There! How do you like my picture? This was taken on the last motorcycle trip in 2007-we stopped in Magdalena, New Mexico...on the way to Red River, New Mexico. Don't I look tuff? I crack myself up! If only I could have brought Belinda with me...she's my 12-gauge scatter. Maybe I can fashion a back strap for her-like Dirty Steve in 'Young Guns'...oh, that would be funny! In Arizona and New Mexico you can carry a gun on you-as long as it's out in the open-cowboys here have 'em in holsters-like the Old West! How I LOVE living here...sighs...
Oh, jeeze-I'm going to be the big 4-0 this year (gasp!), and hope to finish my Young Guns fan fic soon! Here's a little info about myself: I'm a married mother of one nutty 6 year old, Jake, who loves: 'the America of the USA (that's what he calls is!), money (not to spend, but where it comes from, who's on what currency-and believe me-he KNOWS!), SpongeBob, the planets (especially Mars and Jupiter), and he loves Mozart's opera 'Don Giovanni' because of me. I am currently chained to my desk, hard at work being a govermental employee! (I am a case worker for the County Attorney's Office, and have been for the last 8 years). My hubby works in Show Low and the three of us like to: read, watch TV, go to the movies, eat ice cream, and generally have a ton of fun!
I had changed my pen name from tk421beth to EmiliosLoofah. That just fit better!
Books: I am currently reading four books right now: 'A Tree Grows in Brooklyn', the 'Twilight' series (onto book 3!), 'The Queen's Fool' by Philippa Gregory, 'The Historian'...countless others...some crazy romance novels as well...! I finally finished: 'The Other Boleyn Girl'
I love to read many different books...magazines, full novels, fiction, comics and non-fiction. I've been a lover of books since I was a wee one. I used to read all the books in the house, and bored, I'd start reading the encyclepeida! I'm a lover of Trashy Novels a fun to read, no? My first one was Judy Blume's 'Wifey', which I still love to read! I also love Jackie Collins 'Lucky' series. I LOVE Katie Macalister, the 'Nerd' series by Vicki Lewis Thompson, Sophie Kinsella's 'Shopaholic' books remind me of myself (I LOVE to shop!), Historical Romance novels (hysterical romance!) especially westerns! All time favorite books: Timeline, The Hobbit, The Giving Tree (since I was a kid), Fred Nolan's 'The West of Billy the Kid', ALL the Harry Potter books, 'Under the Black Flag: The Romance and the Reality of Life Among the Pirates by David Cordingly, 'Sioled Doves: Prostitution in the Early West' by Anne Seagraves, 'Billy the Kid' by Robert M. Utley, 'History of the Lincoln County War' by Maurice Garland Fulton and Robert N. Mullin, 'The Illustrated Life and Times of Billy the Kid/Doc Holliday/Wyatt Earp by Bob Boze Bell. My favorite subject is Billy the Kid, of course! I LOVE EMILIO ESTEVEZ! Yes, I AM his personal loofah, thank you very much :P
Music: Mozart, Beethoven, J.S. Bach (Yes, there are several!), most ALL classic rock, Missy Elliot, Josh Groban, Madness, Flogging Molly, The Eagles, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Led Zep, most of the new Country music, The Beatles, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Weezer, Gorillaz, Rush, Eric Clapton (esp his old stuff)...etc...etc! I listen to NPR all day (news in the morning, classical music all day, then NPR does shows: 'Morning Edition', 'Marketplace', 'All things Considered', 'Fresh Air'...etc, etc. Interesting stuff every day!). I mostly listen to calssical music, and of course: 80's music! Shoot, I remember when Duran Duran's 'Hungry Like the Wolf' video came out! Yupper-I'm OLD, people!
Movies: Young Guns, Young Guns II (of Course!), Kung Fu Hustle, CJ7, King of Beggars...I am in LOVE with Stephen Chow!! I also like ALL STAR WARS, especially IV, V and VI, All Pirates of the Caribbean, all LOTR, ALL Harry Potter, Notting Hill, Fried Green Tomatoes, Fight Club, Tombstone, Old School, 3:10 to Yuma, School of Rock, Open Range-one of the best new Westerns...The American President, Under The Tuscan Sun, The Blues Brothers, Heavy Metal, The Other Sister, The Simpsons Movie, Love Actually, Donnie Darko, Bladerunner (I believe this is where the RPG 'Cyberpunk' was made from!), The Breakfast Club, Stand By Me, A Hard Day's Night, St. Elmo's Fire (I'd DIE if any man came up to me and said: 'I'm obsessed'), Sixteen Candles (love those 80's-90's movies!) ALL Monty Python (especially Holy Grail!), Office Space (that's my life!), anything with Jack Black, or my beloved Emilio in it, etc, etc!
TV: I love television. I try to watch it a LOT, there I admit it! I would DIE without television! Really! I LOVE Family Guy, The Simpsons, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (he is brillant! The most important Jew!!) and Chappelles Show, Roseanne, What Not to Wear on TLC, all the obese shows on TLC and the Discovery Channel(s), The Biggest Loser, South Park, The new John Adams mini-series on HBO (OMG, it's SO awesome! I may do a fan fic on that!), Good Eats on the Food Network, all the I the 70's, 80's and 90's on VH1 (Ah! Memories!), and sometime the 'real' news.
Collecting: I have a THING for learning about Billy The Kid and the Lincoln County War...I wish I was a real historian...I have about 8 books that I'm reading...'The West of Billy the Kid' by Frederick Nolan is THE BEST ONE...bar none! I'm a member of the Billy The Kid Outlaw Gang...they're located in New Mexico...website: www.btkog.com I also collect stamps (I'm a dork)..but they're cool: Star Wars, Harry Potter, and LOTR...I won a blue ribbon at the County Fair for 'em! (Really!). I have a real autographed Young Guns II photo of Emilio...sighs...and several other photos from Young Guns I and II in my dorky office...my sister works for the Television and movie industry, and she is going to have Charlie Sheen sign the YGI photo...I'll faint when that happens! If it happens! I also have a shitload of Star Wars toys that people keep on buying for me on Christmas, even though I'm totally overloaded and have asked them to STOP buying them!

I also can't get enough of playing Sudoku...I'm totally addicated to that puzzle game!
I just started playing 'Puzzle Pirates' on www.puzzlepirates.com, and totally addicted to that as well. Username-Ashiyan; character: Oldbaldman! He looks totally awesome in his blue Fez and pointy boots!
Since I was a teenager, I have written fan fiction, but was not sure what to call it! (Hey, it was the 80's...I had to write on old fashioned paper, to you young whipper-snappers!) I enjoy tweaking stories of: Star Wars, Harry Potter, Young Guns, Tombstone and Pirates of the Caribbean. My first fan fic is in regards to the movie, Young Guns...and the main character I made up, Jessica Tunstall. I plan to do a Tombstone story soon! I really do not have a lot of free time, though and my updates are rather slow. Sorry, but you'll understand if your married, work 40 hours a week, and have a crazy 6 year old son!
