Status update 13/10/07: For once I have a valid excuse for the lack of updates - no notebook computer. It's heading off to be repaired (for the third time in almost as many months) and though I hope to have it back within a week, it could well be longer before it reappears. Until then, I'm resorting to the time-honoured method of pen and paper (for the third time in almost as many months) with SFA:DP my primary focus. I've promised more, and by hook or by crook I'll provide more.

In the meantime, I have a somewhat oddball question I'd like to pose to y'all: Can Fox McCloud sing? If so, what kind of voice would he have? No, I'm not about to stick him in a boy-band, but there are interesting plot/character things that can be done with either a singing or a non-singing McCloud, and I'm struggling to make my mind up on the subject.

Actually, there are more than a few things I'm indecisive about, to the point I'm thinking of setting up a forum for my story, since feedback is one the greatest tools a writer can have, IMHO, and the review system doesn't really allow for the level of interaction I'd find most useful. I'm just wondering if there'd be enough interest to justify it - I'm not about to spam the list with something no-one wants, after all.
