Of the fandoms I dabble in: Battle B-daman, Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Warriors Orochi, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, K.O.3anguo, Transformers, Road to Eldorado...and many others as well, including the Final Fantasy series.

For Final Fantasy, I admit that I haven't played III, VIII, IX, X and XII, but I am intensely fascinated with finding out all I can about them. Hell, I'll get them all on emulator someday.

So...how do I explain this fic without giving anything away? For one thing, it has no planned plot, just some general ideas about characters and possible scenarios. For another thing, it's filled with AU characters whose AU have never been written. They all mostly come from plot bunnies I've had, though some come from AU's that I've started writing but never finished/posted.

Let's see...how do I explain this? Well, basically, it's a story primarily set in any one of the twelve previous wars between Cosmos and Chaos, but not the very first. Things would be waaaay more chaotic if it were the first. It's likely somewhere between the second to the fifth, given the sudden level of organization.

I guess, in general, the plot would be this: The warriors have been summoned for the war between Cosmos and Chaos. Each side has its oddities, and each side has its champions. But an error has occurred. A rift in the fabric of reality, caused by the stirring of the Great Will, has caused an anomaly--some of the warriors summoned have been replaced by a different version of the same warrior. Now, warriors on both sides must deal with the consequences of this, as well as fighting each other...but how do you that if your best friend, or your lover, or maybe even a relative, is now the enemy? And your enemy is now your best friend, or your lover, or was your relative all along?

Each chapter is told from the view of a different participant in the war, but they aren't necessarily the champions of Cosmos and Chaos. Chapter events should be chronological, or at least take place almost simultaneously, but may not have anything to do with the events of the previous chapter. This doesn't mean each chapter stands alone though, there'll be plenty of cross-chapter references soon enough.

On a personal level, this is the first fic I've posted since I took down all my old fics, and I'm quite nervous about it.

tl;dr: First fic in a long time. Pimps AU ideas that haven't been written down yet.
