Reading is my passion. After years of enjoying fanfiction, I decided to try my hand at writing some myself.

My favorite types of books are fantasy, sci-fi, and romance. I also adore the A&E six-hour Pride&Prejudice, Vin Diesel's voice, Twizzlers, and peppermint flavored anything. I graduated with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Japanese. I'm trying to get my PhD (go year 6!) and write my dissertation in Animal Behavior/Physiology right now, so that's to blame for my lack of updates.

Story Status:

06Jan12 - So Parchment will be a bit longer than I intended. Drat. I'm enjoying writing it though. I have been updating really quickly, which is nice. Hopefully I'll keep the momentum even with school and teaching starting up on Monday.

27Dec11 - To get myself back into the writing groove, I ended up starting a Harry Potter fic. It is Draco/Hermione, from Draco's POV, and I already have 10 pages. I'm hoping it will only be 15-20 pages long. It ended up with an explicit scene that I will probably edit for this site and post elsewhere if you are old enough to read it. It is the smuttiest I've ever gotten, so I have mixed feelings on it. I'll have to see what you all think. The edited version will show up in chapter 5(?). I hope to post the first chapter sometime in the next week.

Once that is completed, I plan to go back and update Pussyfooting. One of the reasons things have gone so slowly is that I'm now 30 weeks pregnant and some of the things that were and maybe still will happen to Akane dealt with parasitic pregnancy feelings related to her revival of and relationship to the pearls. Pregnancy is no longer a purely speculative area for me. So I need to rework a few things.Thanks for your patience!

In hibernation:

LIQUID FLAME: RK (Mystery/Action/Adventure/Romance) AU Fantasy focusing on Saitou/Tokio with chibi Kaoru and young Battousai. Lots of cool fight scenes and plot in this one, or at least there will be. First in a Series. Part II will focus on KK. (This isn't abandoned, I swear! It is just in hibernation and waiting for spring. Hopefully it won't be a nuclear winter.)

Future (and/or in a better/different world with more time) Writing Ideas:

Slumbering City sequel: The wedding, more crazy animal magic, Kaoru meets Kenshin's ex-brother-in-law (dun-dun!), and more visits to the museum.
