Author has written 5 stories for Lord of the Rings, and Twilight.
Age: Those strange little years you'd like to call "teen." Loving it, despite how everyone else refers to them as hell on earth.
Quotes that define me/my values in a nutshell:
"Love feels no burden, regards not labors, strives toward more than it attains, argues not of impossibility, since it believes that it may and can do all things. Therefore it avails for all things, and fulfils and accomplishes much where one not a lover falls and lies helpless." --Thomas Kempis
"No artist’s work is so high, so noble, so grand, so enduring, so important for all time, as the making of character." --Charlotte Cushman
"The value of compassion cannot be over-emphasized. Anyone can criticize. It takes a true believer to be compassionate. No greater burden can be borne by an individual than to know no one cares or understands." --Arthur H. Stainback
FICS IN PROGRESS:
The Lullaby: Complete oneshot. Sort of a songfic, if piano songs count. Don't you love how Edward centers even his music on Bella? drools
An Absurd Proposal: Made for twilight_swap (an LJ community)'s round one swap. Oneshot, featuring Bella, Alice, and Rosalie in all their shopping glory.
Promise of a Goodbye: A little AU, centering on Bella and Edward's parting from Stephanie Meyer's New Moon. Oneshot, and complete.
No Life But This: Ah, my answer to Twilight's sequel (before New Moon came out.) Currently a work in progress. Chapters 3 and 4 will be out as soon as I type them up and post them. NOTE: They ARE written. I am just very, very lazy.
Elbereth Help Us: Chapter 27 is up... after almost 8 months of nothing. Luckily, I've managed to redirect the flow of some juices to this one ;) More to come soon.
The Founding: This fic is the result of the dreaded 'no outline' disease. I desperately want to expand, but that's last on my list. On a hiatus-- maybe permanent, though I doubt I'll just give it up. I'm being a hopeful.
Fics to Come: (Tentative titles and summaries... and I've no idea when I'll get them out.)
Crystal Clear: A Labyrinth fic, AU- What if Sarah wasn't a child when she went through the Labyrinth? Featuring Cynical!Jareth, Noble!Sarah, and Evil!Labyrinth.
Fanfic 100: Twilight/New Moon: Already in progress... for more info on fanfic 100, go here:
One Chronicles of Narnia fic (as you can see, untitled). What happens to Susan, after The Last Battle? I've got my own answer.
A collection of drabbles on Maedhros and Lomiel (my OFC.) Spans the ages of Arda, from the Exile of the Noldor to the destruction of Beleriand...
... If I can dig up some more of my older plotbunnies, I'll let y'all know.
Currently: Twilight. I swear, Stephenie Meyer is a freaking genius. No joke.Bows at her magnificent feet. (And glomps Edward.)
Lord of the Rings- Come on, who doesn't like LotR!
AA-Rhodes Books (Hawksong and In the Forests of the Night)- Gotta love those shapeshifters and vampires...
Wizard of Earthsea- it's like MORE LotR! Except a young, hot Gandalf... no, not that disturbing.
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants- Because a teen girl never tires of a book that is about friendship, love, and pain.
The Princess Bride- Seriously, medieval humor with a kickass plot. Can't get any better.
East- If I could blend fairytales and a great story like this all in one book you suckers would have to buy my stuff instead of reading it here. Winks Not happening soon, though...
Poems That Rock: The Highwayman, Alfred Noyes. The Lady of Shalott, Lord Tennyson. The Stolen Child, WB Yeats.
V for Vendetta: Watch it. It's a lesson to all those people who think the power of a country is in it's government. Wrong-- the strength of a nation lies in its poeple. And solely in its people. There's a difference.
