Author has written 35 stories for Harry Potter, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Sopranos, Smallville, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, Danny Phantom, Batman, Pirates of the Caribbean, Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars, and Harper's Island. I will start with the obvious things, such as my pet peeves with writing and such, which are listed as follows: In summaries, one thing I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT STAND is the use of 'what if' and such. It's just so...boring, like the author could not use more creative means of getting their point across without resorting to that method. I'll still read the stories, but it's lately really bothering me when you look through a list of stories and you see about twelve of them starting with "What if...blah blah." It kinda sounds snobby, but that's one of the few things that really bug me, another is: Blatant misspelling in summaries, just because it's REALLY irritating when it seems like the writer doesn't care enough to capitalize names and spell stuff right. I mean I'm not a model speller or anything, I've had comments on grammatical errors, it's just when it seems like you don't care it comes off as a major turnoff to the story. And the last spelling/grammar one is the over excessive use of exclamation points like Jenny died a horrible death! Blood was gushing everywhere! Her boyfriend was really sad! Later he killed himself! I mean, it's never that bad, but it just doesn't fit the mood. My other profile was full of my whole favorites list and story summaries, but I will just list the stories that I am currently working on: THEIR LAST: The sequel to When It's Over? one of my most popular stories. I doubt that this will have the same popularity, I got caught up in the Harry Potter fic age way back when the sixth book was about to come out and everyone was rushing to publish their own little fics, as was I. The story ended around the same time that the frenzy died, so this sequel I doubt is anticipated and if it comes out unsatisfactorily, I'll delete it. THE CONSEQUENCE OF MERCY: is my absolute favorite of my Smallville fics. I'll update sparsely, but I've kind of lost the inspiration. It's not a drought, or writer's block, just new interests. Chloe Sullivan is my favorite! The name has minimal bearing on the plot, I was reading a Faye Kellerman book similarly named, except I think it was the Quality of Mercy, kind of smutty book that I didn't really like, I just liked the sound of the name. RETURN TO AMITY PARK: Ah, my newest obsession, centering around the future of the four stars of the kids' show Danny Phantom. I love this story as well, and will definitely finish it, but my frenzy of updates will cool, so I hope that no one is counting on my rhythm. Writing is my way to avoid the fact that school is closing in and finals are fast approaching, gasp! WHODUNIT: Is something that I have absolutely no idea where it is going, I really don't. I don't know who the killer is, or the motive, anything. It was a whim piece that I am attempting to update today, 6-12-06, but the server won't let me, dunno why. It's my first murder mystery that I know is going to be difficult to complete, with a bit more superficial Chloe Sullivan than even I like, and I'm writing the damned story! THE INVISIBLE LINE: I have currently reached a block in this story, seeing as I adore the first chapter and the others seem horribly inadequate...I hate my own big-word usage, I feel like such a jerk. The first chapter was a sort of natural flow that I adored, but I was pressured into a continuation that I did not intend on making. Maybe I'll delete the chapters except for the first one, who knows? Most of my other stories are either complete or oneshots or stories that I have no intention of finishing. You can probably figure out my interests by reading my stuff, some of it's good, depending on your tastes, I can go from drama to funny in .62 seconds flat so there is no complacency! | |||||||||
