Author has written 2 stories for Kim Possible.

Wow, it's been a while since I updated this thing. Well, no time like the present.

Well, I was previously qtpie235, but that name sucked (never stick with a screen name you picked in third grade), so I changed it to this, which is a lot cooler IMO.

I've been having what seems to be chronic writers block, since I can't come up with any decent ideas. Most writers complain about their plot bunnies - I say bring 'em on! I bought extra lettuce and everything...

But I think I'm starting to come out of my slump. I'm currently working on a The Great Divide inspired fanfic (yes, I am well aware that this is considered by many (including the writers) to be one of the most pointless episodes in Avatar, and is even thought to be the "retarded cousin" of the series (brownie points if you get that reference), but dang it, I enjoyed that episode! Besides, it has Lloyd in it (extra brownie points if you get THAT reference.)

Wow, I went parentheses crazy there. Moving on.

I've written a couple of original stories, links are below:

Well, that's it for the intro.

Name: Michelle, but you can also call me by the nickname Nessa has bestowed upon me, Shellfish (It's okay, I call her Nestle). I have also garnered another nickname from my new screen name - Waffles.

Location: Brooklyn, New York

Age: Almost 16, and NOT lovin' it.

Likes/Hobbies: Reading, writing, eating, sleeping, listening to music, watching anime, Skyping w/ my DF chat buddies

Dislikes/Pet Peeves: Ignorant and/or arrogant people, cursing, slash stories, being ignored, n00bs (not to be confused with newbs), and peanut butter.

And now for the ever anticipated favorites:

Books: Things Not Seen, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Silent to the Bone, Once Upon a Marigold, Just Ella, Speak, Holes, the Hazelwood High Trilogy, On the Run and Kidnapped Series

Writers (in real world): Phyllis Reynolds Naylor, Barbara Park, Jeanne Betancourt, E. L. Konigsburg, Andrew Clements, Gordon Korman

Songs: Too many to count. Got any good pop, R&B, rock, or anime music? Feel free to email me and send them!

Artists: Within Temptation, Kelly Clarkson, ABBA, Vanessa Carlton, Evanescence, Linkin Park,...this list is running quite long, isn't it?

TV Shows: I must be honest, the only shows I watch nowadays are Avatar: The Last Airbender, which is just pure EPIK and WIN, and Monk. I WOULD watch Kim Possible if it weren't on at such an ungodly hour...

If you want to know about Avatar, here are two great videos that will help you get the essence of the show (mild spoilers alert!):

Remember the Name (note: This video was featured at the NYCC Avatar Panel. It was just that awesome.): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3AQgQ8Yuts&feature=related

Manga/Anime: Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic, Fruits Basket, Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (Perfect Girl Evolution), DramaCon (an amazing American manga), Hayate no Gotoku (or Hayate the Combat Butler), Romeo x Juliet, Ouran High School Host Club

Movies: Naruto the Movie: Snow Princess' Book of Ninja Arts, Full Metal Alchemist Movie, The Day After Tomorrow, The Core, Night at the Museum, Ratatouille, Spirited Away, The Spiderwick Chronicles

Here's my result from this element test (it's freakishly accurate): http://quizilla.com/users/nekokittychi/quizzes/.3A-

Your element is Air: Carefree, lovable, fun and childish. Aren't you cute! You're just full of childhood spunk and happiness! Hey, who said being young was a bad thing? You have a keen understanding of what's good in life and choose to remain happy rather than get too upset over things. Life is fun, who wants to be troubled by grown-up problems? Being as capable of love as you are you will make a wonderful parent if and when you choose to grow up. Love is a mystery because you only want friends, not love interests; games are better than relationships with the opposite sex. You have what everyone is searching for, that so called 'fountain of youth' deep inside. You can come across as naive and childish at times. But who cares what they think, lets go play tag!

Scenes from Stories:

“Why did you come back… if you thought the choice was final….” His answer would be everything. It was the linchpin her whole existence depended on.

“I was thinking as the aircraft taxied for take-off,” Sousuke replied. “Even though my thoughts were still jumbled, I realized something very important. Something I should have told you when you ordered me to go.”

“Sousuke?” Kaname’s eyes began to fill with tears. In much the same way, her heart began to fill with emotions. If he confessed his love for her again, there was no way that she could ever let him walk away.

“You do not outrank me,” Sousuke said. “You are not my commanding officer.” He stood a bit stiffer, moving his legs apart and placing his hands behind his back. “You have no authority over me.” It was hard to tell if he was being serious or not.

“I love you too, S-….” Kaname went ramrod stiff, after starting to speak directly from her heart. Her eyes went wide, and then narrowed to slits. One eyebrow twitched. A vein at the corner of her forehead pulsated. “What… did… you… say….” Once again, Sousuke had her on an emotional teeter-totter.

“I’m a Specialist, Kaname.” The initial part of his response did not make things any better. “As you should know by now, there is practically nothing that I cannot do.”

“Alright!” Clapping his hands, Beast Boy grinned and trotted back to the other half of their makeshift court. There, Cyborg and a grim Robin joined him while the Titan ladies organized themselves. Starfire took position at the front of the net, prompting Robin to shove Beast Boy back and match her placement.

Terra stood at the back with the ball. “Comin’ at ya, Gar,” she called, and batted the ball over the net.

Her smile waned as Beast Boy answered, “Heads up, Kory!”

He popped the ball into a lazy arc that sailed high over Starfire. She could have stood still, stuck out her arms, and returned the ball with the slightest twitch of her arms. Instead, she soared up after the ball and pounded it into Robin’s face.

Robin yelped and stumbled back. The ball ricocheted into the sand, kicking up a wave of grit that fell into his open mouth. He sputtered his tongue clean and gritted his teeth to the tune of Starfire’s laughter. “Too slow, Robin!” she shouted. “Perhaps if you did not spend so great a time in your room with the studying, you might almost be of my match.”

The ball rolled back to Terra, who picked it up and served again without comment. Her volley sailed through the tense air and over Starfire’s smug smile, which split for a cry as Robin leapt up and spiked the ball into her stomach. She stumbled back and clutched her red belly, shooting a venomous glare through the net.

“Must not be as quick as you thought,” he retorted, while Tek nervously rolled the ball to his side. “I guess all that wishy-washiness weighs you down.” With a cruel smirk, he added, “Or maybe you’ve put on a few pounds.”

Shocked silence thundered across the beach, broken only by the steady thrum of the tide. Starfire ran a hand across her perfect abs and pressed her lips into a line. “You speak as though you could notice such an impossible gain in mass through the impedance of your greasy mask.”

The ball bopped off Cyborg’s fist as he served. “Like you’d even come near enough for me to see,” said Robin, as the ball tumbled back to the girl’s side.

Starfire shoved Tek out from underneath the ball and pounded it back over the net. “I have no reason to go near you,” she said.

Robin flew over a protesting Cyborg and slammed the ball back over. “Good! I don’t want to see you!” he shouted.

“Got it!” yelled Terra. She set the ball up, and then was plowed under by Starfire’s flying dash.

“I do not want you to want to see me!” Starfire yelled, and spiked the ball.

The white comet bounced hard off Beast Boy’s face, setting the ball for Robin’ counter-assault while the shapeshifter lost consciousness. “Well, who would want to?” Robin shouted.

Starfire flew up, practically over the net. “There are worlds of boys who would attend to me over crime-fighting!”

Robin flew into the air to meet her return. They batted the ball back and forth, their blows growing more powerful, their voices louder and more heated. “I guess you should go find somebody who fits all your selfish little whims,” said Robin.

“True selfishness is hoarding yourself,” Starfire barked.

“What does that even mean?” bellowed Robin.

Starfire roared and struck the ball down with a hammer blow. The vortex of the shot blew Robin through the air as the ball exploded at Cyborg’s feet. Cyborg flew back in a spray of sand, landing in a heap atop Beast Boy. The sandstone posts crumbled as Terra and Tek ran forward, shouting opposite names as they crossed the collapsing net to the dog pile. Starfire and Robin floated down on opposing sides as the ladies pulled their boys apart.

Toph remembered her parents telling her that there was a fun game they wanted to play with her, and that she would get a big reward every time she did it right. A game? It sounded fun! Toph had nodded enthusiastically, clapping her little hands together in anticipation. Was there going to be earthbending in this game? She had asked.

“No,” was her mother’s response. “It’s a different kind of game.”

“Ooohh….what is it?”

It was really boring, that was what it was. She had to stay in her little room, and be as quiet as possible, until Mom came and told her it was okay. This was no fun! Sure, getting to have an earthbending lesson as a reward was good, but still…. She could keep quiet for as long as she wanted, but did she have to stay in here, too? Blah!

But she was obedient anyway, the first five times or so. And every time Mom or Dad asked her to play the game, she had heard a lot of voices in the house, new vibrations milling about, all excited and happy, babbling and moving. What was that? Laughter, occasionally. It sounded like a lot more fun that she was having!

So one night, she had gotten curious.

Getting to her steady, rooted little feet, a four-year-old Toph Bei Fong had tip-toed down the hall, placing a sensitive ear to the thin wall that separated her from Mom and Dad. Yeah, now she could hear them!

“Lady Bei Fong, this is an exquisite banquet. Tell me, where is this dish from...”

“…there’s fighting up North, I’ve heard….”

“Oh, no, I could never….”

Okay, so a lot of boring talk, adult stuff. Until something had reached her that, in retrospect, she hadn’t wanted to hear.

“Lord Bei Fong, when are you two planning on children? You had been planning it before you went to Omashu for a year four years ago, so what happened?”

“Oh, well, we…” came Dad’s voice, tripping over the words.

“How about a strong young boy, eh? Carry on the family wealth?”

“Of course,” she heard her mother say hesitantly. Toph’s little face scrunched into a frown. What was going on?

“Or at least a lovely young daughter! I’m sure any child of yours would be so heartbreakingly perfect that the suitors would come by the hordes for her, Lady Bei Fong.”

Toph waited with baited breath, but the response she was listening for never came.

Wasn’t Mom going to mention her? Why was Dad acting like that? Toph wanted to smash thorough the wall and surprise them, scare them and then make them all laugh. They had been being silly, of course! And then Mom would pick her up and show her off to everybody, talking about what a good earthbender Toph was, how smart she was, how great a daughter she was to have. She was blind, yes, but that didn’t matter! Yes, that was the way Toph wanted it to happen.

But she knew when she was not welcome, could feel the vibrations radiating like heat from the room, and she had backed away, a lump sitting in her throat like she had taken too big a bite of food, warmth coming into her eyes.

And she had run back down the hall, back into her little refuge, promising that she would never never never trust anybody or care about anybody ever again. Everybody in the whole world was mean and didn’t care about her, so there!

Of course, she got over it a bit, after some hysterics. But she still never trusted anybody, never thought anybody understood or cared about her, for the next eight years of her life.

Until a funny little fairy-toed boy had approached her and offered her freedom, that is…
