I first became interested in FanFiction via Battlestar Galactica, but I've kind of lost interest in BSG since Starbuck became a loony and Apollo was turned into a whining nancy by the writers of the show, and have moved my ship to Blood Ties.

As for me. I have a wonderful husband and a brilliant 13year old son, live in Australia, am 'enjoying' semi-permanent retirement because I've had 2 foul years in succesion and need the break, and spend waaaaaay too much time at my computers (and waaaay too much money on things I don't really need on eBay).

I've just finished a course on Medieval History at Uni - because it's always interested me and I needed something to do with my brain a break.

Now I have to think of something else to do...ahhhh Moonlight :D, well, up until Nina Tassler (anti-christ) cancelled it anyway - so now I'm obsessed with Moonlight fic. Sexy vamps are a turnon.

Speaking of sexy vamps...my new ship is TWILIGHT. Okay, so I found it late - but at least I got to read all 4 books at once and not had to wait for each one to be published! That was mid August - it's now the beginning of October and I've read them all 5 times! Obsessed much? And I'm way too embarrassed to admit how much Twilight related stuff I have from jewellery to stationery and bumper stickers...sad.

It helps that I'm living and working in Chicago for the next 7 months too - that's how found out about Twilight in the first place...it's sure a quiet secret in Oz. I can't wait to see the movie when it's released here on November 21! I've always had a 'thing' for Robert Pattinson so for him to be playing Edward is beyond joyous for me. Go Patz!
