Author has written 27 stories for X-Files, StarTrek: Voyager, Harry Potter, and Final Fantasy VII. Hi there everyone. I am Rachel, Lady Mary Sue badness of five years ago. Seriously, anything pre 2005 is like really really bad!fic standards. I really should not have been allowed to write back then, but somehow I was. Anyway, I'm in my twenties, I write stuff for Star Trek: Voyager (Janeway/Chakotay dudes!!), Harry Potter (Snape/Hermione, Draco/Ginny), sometimes X-Files, CSI: Miami... I read loads more though... Like, Advent Children (my sister writes), Harry Potter slash (whoo-hoo!!), any Voyager fic that isn't squicky... So that's basically any fic that has Seven making moo moo cow eyes at Chakotay gone. :D I'm sorry, just hate her sorry skinny ass. A load of my Snape/Hermione fics are for the LiveJournal community Fic101. You get 101 words, and you have to makes stories out of them! It's fun! And many people can do a fandom/pairing/character (I think one person is trying to pair Sam Carter from SG-1 with as many people as possible, but possibly not for Fic101, even though she includes them there). So yeah, the newer Snape/Hermione fics (from like, Ship of Misdeeds onwards) are for Fic101. Go join! You'll like it, they have cookies. :D I've just discovered Stargate Atlantis... Well, not discovered, because I knew of it, and the basic, 'This is Atlantis, these are Wraiths (who are evil). Sheppard's the yummy one, Weir the cool woman, Teyla can beat you up, Rodney's the one who had a crush on Sam in SG-1 and Ford's boring,' but I had never watched the show, but now I have and I just wanna write Atlantis stuff, so uh... Cover your eyes? I might just come in and wreck the fandom stereotypes and be flamed to death... Meh! Bring on the Sheppard/Weir loving! I have no time for lousy reviewers who don't sign with their pen names, because if they're gonna flame me, I'm want to go to their fics and pick it apart sentence by sentence... My sister calls me an English teacher in disguise. I'm not that bad, I just care about punctuation, grammar and constructive criticism. I generally listen to My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Regina Spektor and Amy Winehouse as I write, so that maudlin feel somes though in some of the angst fics. Be warned, I like them a lot... Fics will be here with those songs in mind (but not a song fic, cause they are very much last year). Some are fics from experience, and others flights of fancy (suggestive leer and wink)... I'm kinda pretencious, hadn't you guessed? But not to worry, it seems that I can't write angst at the moment, so all is well. I like words like apathetic, pathetic fallacy, juxtaposition, synesthesia... All those cool English lit words... Because, let's face it, they're funky. I also like the words emo, guyliner, whilst (I freaked out one of my friends when I used it in an RPG), freak(y), funky and weird.
