So you want to know about Calliope Allerdyce
Ew, why?
Ok, I am now a fully qualified 15 year old. I've been writing fanfics for 2 years. I mainly write humor because that's all I'm really good at. I try to write drama but I can't think of anything really scandalous. I do a bit of romance, fluff stuff. I have one horror story because I absolutely love killing spree movies like Battle Royale. But yeah, now that I have a much wider range of vocabulary I'm gonna be trying different types of genres. Some will probably suck but you might just find a few masterpieces - probably not but stick around anyway.
When I'm not on the computer writing fanfics - which I'm rarely doing 'cause I'm such a lazy butt I'm
- watching cartoons or X-Men movies on TV
- practicing an instrument (guitar, piano, drums)
- drawing (my favorite hobby, writing comes 2nd)
- playing RPG games on my lovely PS2
- doing other random things on the internet
- concocting something strange in the kitchen to eat
Who is Calliope Allerdyce?
Ok. Calliope Allerdyce is my only OC ever. (Ok, so I tried making more but they were all retarded so they went boom) She is related to St John Allerdyce (X-Men) and I've only ever placed her in my Evo stories. She is loud, obnoxious, crazy, rebellious, airheaded and evil. In a good way. If that's possible. She's got messy red hair she ties in 2 balls on her head and green eyes. Have fun trying to read stories with her as the main character.
My Stories
Why mutants shouldn't watch the powerpuff girls
This was my first fanfic ever. It was about Forge being inspired to build a machine he saw on PPG and then it going horribly wrong and chaos reigning over mutants in Bayville. And somehow the professor used shampoo. Don't ask, I was 13. I am so not going to continue this story. Ever. So if you are one of the minority who actually like it, I'm sorry.
Cruise not-so Control
This was my 2nd fanfic. I don't remember much but it was based off of the episode in Evo called 'Cruise Control'. Basically a 'what would happen if the professor lost his mind and decided to send all the x-kids and acolytes and brotherhood off for a vacation where calamity is sure to ensue' kind of spur of the moment story. Not a very good plot but I guess but it promised a lot of laughs. I don't think I like this story enough to continue it.
Failed attempts to create a normal Acolyte story
This is about how Kitty has a project at school to write about the Acolytes seriously but she has a huge difficulty in trying to do so. Who can blame her? Acolytes + Serious? 'Tis impossible - unless you're one of those stunningly awesome fanfic authors on here that can write really beautiful long multi-chaptered stories on the life of Remy. This was basically just a story created so I could write up a bunch of Acolyte story ideas I'd never actually go through with. It's actually pretty fun, I recommend it. If I ever had the time - which will probably be after I graduate, which means another 2 and a half years - I might just continue this one.
X Angels
This story consists of 3 OCs, mine and 2 of my friends. It's ok, I guess. Inconsistent story-telling though. I keep hinting about things that will pop up later on but they never do. I read this over again a few weeks ago and am totally grossed out by a certain character I made up by the name of Felix. (I usually pair Cali with Sam Guthrie so if I could go back in time I'd slap myself for pairing Cali with someone like Felix) I'm re-writing this story but I don't know if I'll put the 2nd version on fanfic or not.
School Rumble episode 26 season 1 alternative ending
Warning. You will only understand this if you watched the entire first season of School Rumble. I've gotten reviews saying 'You do know the season continues, right?' and duh, I know that, it's an ALTERNATIVE ending as opposed to the annoying-as-hell one the evil producers of School Rumble made. I swear, I could've run over to Japan and strangled those guys for making such an annoying ending. Hehe, but it was pretty good in that really annoying 'argh, you tricked me twice!' kind of way. This story is complete.
Boulevard of Broken Songs
I actually don't remember what this was about but by the summary it sounds like a mushy romance story I wrote when I was in a weird mood so I'm too scared to go back and read it. If you're into soppy love songfics, read it. If not, it's definately not a loss so don't worry. This was a oneshot so it's complete.
Rockstar
My first attempt at a long-term thoroughly thought out story I am moderately proud of. I didn't really get Cali's personality in this one and it's hard to get the plot going where I wanted but I generally kind of like it. It's written a lot better than the other stories because I actually planned out the plot before hand. I will attempt to continue it so there's a possibility you might see another chapter popping up sooner or later. Oh and it also stars Josh (Jay) Guthria aka Icarus - one of my favorite X-Men (Uncanny and New) characters.
Inside Jack and Simon's head
This is something I had to do for english class. Don't read it, I don't know why I uploaded it.
Mutant Battle Royale
Haha, this is an interesting one. I wrote it after re-watching Battle Royale and going through a whole 'yay killing spree' phase again. I thought it would be awesome if the X-Men had a Battle Royale so tadah. It's violent and has a lot of blood in it so if you're faint-hearted I advise you not to read it. I quite like it. Oh yeah, and there's a lot of character deaths. And I mean a LOT. It's like an X-Genocide so yeah. If you're deeply in love with someone on X-Men he or she will most likely be murdered in this story. It's not complete yet but I will definately try to update and finish it.
In Case Of Fire
This is the most recent story I've written. I wrote it using only OCs but then edited the story into an OC-less Evo fanfic. It's pretty funny if you're into those corny jokes on t-shirts. It's very, very, very short so it's the ideal story for lazy readers like me. And it's complete. I recommend you to read this one.
Childhood's Requiem
Another Battle Royale-based fanfic except this time I actually put it under 'Battle Royale'. It's a short story I submitted for English class and therefore I'm pretty sure my class thinks I'm like mentally disturbed. Anyway, it's a dark story with an ikkle bit of blood. I professionally use the word 'Mauser' - after reading the novel version of Devil May Cry - so now I'm like 'OOH HARDCORE ME'. It's not very long, we had a word limit of 1,000 words but I went a TINY bit over (112 words doesn't make a difference angel halo).
What kind of stories do I read?
These days I'm a bit lazy with reading fanfics stories but when I do they're usually random hilarious X-Men: Evolution stories my friend sends me but sometimes when I'm in the mood I read some Kingdom Hearts stuff. I love stories people have done about Axel and Roxas. Not just the fluffy 'Roxy, you're so hot, I love you' stuff but like darker more meaningful stories. They're really cool. After playing KHII I concluded that Demyx is officially the best and after reading KH:COM I liked Zexion a lot but when on earth does it ever even slightly hint any Demyx x Zexion? I just don't see them together. But oh well, non-canon can get pretty interesting.
What do I like?
I'm a fan of animanga. I'm not just your typical yaoi fangirl, I swear! I really appreciate anime art for more than its cuteness. However, I like way too many animes to list so don't bother asking.
I have the strangest music taste ever. I like pretty much everything - ok, that's a lie, it's kind of hard for me to really, really like songs. I hate most of the songs on MTV today 'cause they're all the same. Some guy rapping about stuff that doesn't make sense 'cause he only throws words together so they rhyme and he sounds cool with a bunch of half naked girls dancing around behind him. And the girls aren't much better either, they lie around in their underwear and the camera goes in indecent angles. I'm not a prude or anything but seriously, put a shirt on! So I'm pretty against the mainstream but call me a hypocrite, I LOVE LINKIN PARK. Mike Shinoda to be exact. Andrew McMahon (Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin) is awfully inspirational as well.
My favorite movie is, of course, The Nightmare Before Christmas and I like anything else done by the genius Tim Burton (BIG FISH = LOVE). I also really like Little Miss Sunshine, Battle Royale and stuff like Inside I'm Dancing and Billy Elliot (Jamie Bell melts).
Are you done YET?
Yep.
