Hi! Here comes what I can only guess is an information barrage of things you might want to know.
I’m a post college grad [mechanical engineering, married, no kids, one insane cat [Narc(assa) thinks she’s a dog, pretty much have no social life, read way too much [books and fanfic, and me and my husband collect DVDs [were at 800+ disks, a lot are series though.
I love to read fanfic! Bold are currently active (in chronological order of addition):
--Stargate SG1 – Everything but Cameron & Pete (Jack/Sam, Daniel/Vala and anything with Janet are the top)
--Stargate Atlantis – mostly John/Liz
--X- Men – Movie verse and Evolution. My favorite character is Rogue (always has been, always will be) and I fell in love with the Logan/Marie angle. I can NOT get into Remy/Rogue or Rogue/Magneto though (I don't care how cannon it was in the comic).
--Gundam Wing – Heero/Relena, but only complex, post series plot
-- Mediator (books) – Jesse/Suze, really like time travel AUs
--Veronica Mars – Veronica/Weevil or Lamb (w/ or w/o Veronica ship). I use to like LoVe, but somewhere in the second season I got overloaded on it (and so much of it was lacking plot) and then the 3rd season cannon just killed it for me.
--JAG – Mac/Harm
--NCIS – Kate/Gibbs
--Firefly – Originally cannon when a friend made me watch the show, but now if it’s not Mal/River or Mal/Zoë, I’m not interested.
--Dark Angel – I was all about Max/Logan, but the spectacular writing converted me exclusively to Max/Alec
--Buffy/Angel – Spuffy (time travel, early season AUs), Angel/Cordy and Doyle doesn’t die
--Bones – Booth/Brennan, but I’ve stopped because the show holds up better on its own.
-- Enterprise – Trip/T’Pol and ‘These are the voyages’ has been deleted from my memory.
--CSI – Grissom/Cathrine and Nick/Sara
--Doctor Who – I LOVE Rose, really like Jack and 9 is so much better than 10. I’ll read a lot of any pairing of the 3, but adore OT3 the most.
--Pirates of the Caribbean – Elizabeth/Jack (please don’t kill me)
--Battlestar Galactica – Damn cheap used DVDs sucking me in… or, maybe not (only seen through season 2). Kara/Lee & Athena/Helo long term all the way. Kara/Helo friends/flings also apply here. Can’t stand Sam, but like Dee as an antagonist.
I dabble at writing too:
-- Battlestar – Trying, but if I succeed it’ll be smut and I can’t post that here… It’ll be on the fallout shelter and a long way out if anyone’s interested.
--Veronica Mars – LoVe early on, but alas Weevil/Veronica was the only thing I could get a plot going for and he's just pissed me off too much in late season 2.
--Buffy/Angel and Roswell – Way back when, but it is all long lost. (And personally I think it was probably a good thing)
--Other than that I haven't gotten my brain wrapped around other series characters well enough to feel confident writing for them or come up with anything resembling plot (I'm not appose to it though).
