I definitely plan to have Shiki and Rima play a bigger part in the story. I love Shiki to death. He's so adorably awesome. I've been pretty busy lately, (grawwr @ the imminent stresses of responsibility and inevitable home-life difficulties) but I hope to be able to update regularly. (crosses fingers) I'll do my best. — About me... (the boooooring stuff) — I go by Alaena. I'm female, (as my overwhelming amount of romance fics may indicate), soon-to-be 18 (I wish June wouldn't come), homeschooled, and a rabid writer, reader, artist, and anime nut! I love to write because I'm amazed at what words can do. I'd rather a thousand words over a picture any day. Words can start and end wars, break hearts, heal them, and send those who read them into a different world. Yeah... /sentimental rambling/ Anyway, when I can get out of school and (hopefully) go to college, I really want to get a job in writing or teaching English or creative writing, because I love them to death. Besides obsessively frequenting this site, I spend some time on Writing.Com, or at my profile on DeviantART. Ugh, death to shameless plugging! There are so many good anime that I can't even begin to name, though. You make this little writer the happiest person in the world! I could say it over and over again and it would still be as heartfelt as ever: I am amazed at the kindness of the people here. I can't put my gratitude into adequate words, but each and every review is unbelievably appreciated. I try to return reviews, but I often forget, so if anyone ever needs one, just ask in a PM or email. I only read in a few categories, and tend to stay away from yaoi, but I don't mind M ratings if they're mostly for violence and language. I do not believe in flaming, but I do believe in kind and constructive criticism. I understand that each writer has a different style, and think that anyone can learn new things. In reviews, I try to give my thoughts on what I liked about a story, but I also try to point out any problems. Whatever led you to my profile, I'm truly grateful you visited. I'm afraid most of my stuff is rather dark and dreary drama, but there's some humor, a good amount of romance, a rapidly growing collection of fluff (scary, I know), and some butt-kicking action strewn through it all.
