Note: With regards 'Phantom of the Opera' fandom and fanfiction I was, and still am, fervently against the 2004 film. I will not read any fanfiction based on the movie-verse. It is not a true representation of the musical nor the story itself and did not do whatI feel was the properjustice to the characters. I do not recognise Gerard Butler, Emmy Rossum or Patrick Wilson as Erik, Christine or Raoul and will have nothing to do with their portrayals of the characters.
