I really shouldn't make promises I don't keep. Here we are, months after I posted a little ditty I like to call 'Please Don't Kill Me', I'm actually deleting things. I just don't have anything to replace them yet. Yet being the key word. If someone asks, and if it's well received on deviantArt, I'll post an orginal poem of mine. That's right, I can write without using copyrighted characters. I find this amazing. I am also trying very hard to finish writing something that I not only like but that I think you will like. Cross your fingers, but I want something new up here before the New Year. Like I said, cross your fingers. You'll be lucky if I ever finish typing my Naruto story, and it's fully written. And angsty. Pleasantly angsty. I want to do series of them based in the same alternate universe, so I have to fix all the plot holes and such before I send that one out. It is called Waiting for the Sun to Rise, by the way. Look for it soon (I hope)!
Past Thoughts:
Dear God, I have to apologize to the entire world right now. I’ve been on hiatus for almost a full year now, longer even! I can explain, really I can. Overall stress from school (mainly math related things) has been weighing me down so much that I barely have time to check my email some days, let alone respond to it. The biggest problem right now would be my extreme anger at the entire world. I’ve also just decided that I want to be an animator and I have virtually no portfolio. Screwed I am. But anyways, I’ve also changed my style of writing dramatically and I look at some of the things I’ve posted and wonder why that didn’t just stay on my hard drive until it got a plot. Most of it is poorly written fluff that has originality, but it still sucks. Now I know that some people out there love it and they are going to be extremely angered by my next statement. I am going to rewrite all of my stories. Poems are not included in this revamp, sorry. Some stories will be dropped all together. I’m sorry, but that’s just the way it has to be. I’m not satisfied with things that have my name on them, so I’m going to fix them, one at a time. These will be done slowly, so don’t ask when something will be updated because I’m pretty much focusing on graduating without jumping out a window right now.
After the rewrites I will most likely not write anything more for Fullmetal Alchemist, Inuyasha, or Rurouni Kenshin. It’s not that I don’t love these animes/mangas, but I just don’t have the time to fully immerse myself in their world right now. I am no longer the adult swim aholic I once was, and to be quite frank I’ve given up on sorting through fillers in Inuyasha. It’s a pity, but I just can’t do it. Kenshin has also ended in the manga, and I would be killed if I overloaded Netflixs with the anime, so that’s not possible either. As for FMA, the only thing that could have saved it would have been the movie but I just can’t bring myself to watch it. A dear friend of mine and I were going to rent it and watch it in a big blowout bash, but she got sick, missed months of school and ended up in the hospital. Although she’s fine now the idea of watching the movie without her felt like betrayal, it still does, so it’s been removed from my ‘To Watch’ list entirely. I am truly sorry, but that’s how the cookie crumbles.
On a happier note, I’ve become obsessed with both Bleach and Naruto (the good stuff, the manga). I have also resolved to writing either really long one shots or outlining all of my work so this doesn’t happen again. Expect fluff, but with more plot and (currently) angst.
