Hey, my name is Emily and I came to this site cuz I luv writing and reading. Honestly, I never really know what to write in these things...! A little about me is that I'm from TN, but I'm NOT a hick. Or red neck. Or hilbilly. Or whatever you call it. I'm just a southern. = I plan to become a psychiatrist. I play the euphonium. I like singing for fun. Yeah, it's pretty obvious that I'm controlled by the right side of my brain. (that's the artsy side, right? lol)

Uhh, if you want to, you can read my stories below. =) Hmm, I also have an account on fictionpress.net, but I dn't remember what my username is...lol. Oops. Anyway, my writing usually includes romance, cuz I LURVE me some good romance. I've only written yaoi and slash, I think _" As far as fan fiction goes, anyway. I watched the movie 'Alexander' this year and so ever since I've had this infatuation with Colin Farrell, which only grew when I saw him as his naturally brunette self. Then I heard his accent and I was a goner. I've always loved Jared Leto because of '30 Seconds to Mars'. But I digress. Or do I? Can you really digress on here? I mean, if I can't ramble on my profile page, then where can I? I don't know, either.

Some of my fav 'pairings' are as follows:

Alexander/Hephaistion. I LOVE them. My fav couples are when the love between the two is real. No one can even question the sincerity of their love. It also doesn't hurt when the two in question are absolutely gorgeous. =

Colin Farrell/Jared Leto. I know that their love doesn't really exist outside of 'Alexander', but you gotta luv'em anyway.

Malik/Mariku (bronzeshipping)

Malik/Bakura

Aragorn/Legolas

Sokka/Zuko. I know, the series ended and they both have girlfriends. Pshh. Oops, guess that was a slight spoiler if you didn't catch the finale!

For some reason, the pairings of Mariku/Bakura, Malik/Ryou, Bakura/Ryou and Mariku/Ryou have always slightly annoyed me. I love Ryou, but in relationships he's just too much of a push-over for my taste. I generally dislike Mariku/Bakura simply because it's just too much yami-ness (and by yami, I do not mean Atemu) in one couple- how can those two even breath around each other when they both basically sweat testosterone(sp?)?? lol.

I must be weird for this, but when I think of couples and fanfiction, straight/lesbian couples don't really even cross my mind. Well, lesbian couples NEVER do, but since I'm straight, shouldn't the other? Hah. Well, here are some straight couples I like as well as my gay guys:

Gemma/Kartik (A Great and Terrible Beauty). Adore this couple. Was so sad at a certain part of the ending of 'The Sweet Far Thing'!

Sokka/Suki. These two are just too cute.

Phoebe/Cole (Charmed). Cole has always been my fav guy for Phoebe. Next would probably be Cooper.

Important Announcement: 'Undoubtedly Devoted' was deleted by fanfiction. Apparently you aren't supposed to write about 'real people'. I haven't read the rules in so long that I guess I'd forgotten that. I'm no sure if they just happened to come across it or if someone seriously had that much of a problem with my story and reported it. (if so, then I have one word for you...asshole.) Anyway, I was fairly mad because I don't know who read my story and now I don't really have a way of letting them know about it getting deleted. But I have the story on two other sites; www.slashingleto.com and www.livejournal.com . I'm not sure if you have to actually have an account to gain access to my story on those sites, but whatever. On slashing leto my name is shut_down_angel, and on livejournal it is shut_down_angel as well (on this site I have the story posted to 3 communities: hephaistionfans, jared_colin_sin, and strike_me_still). So I updated part 7 already to those sites. And um...yeah, still kinda ticked about this, lol...but there you go. Thanks to everyone that reads it, and that will go to one of those sites and continue to read it. You're awesome.
