February 2010:

UPDATE 5 February: I was so unhappy with the way that Chapter 50 came out (and readers could tell), that I decided to delete it. The new Chapter 50 should be posted on 12 Feb, if all goes well. This just taught me that while I'm pretty good at keeping the weekly deadline, I shouldn't post a chapter until I'm satisfied with it. Thanks and apologies to those who read and decide to do so again after the edits. :(

"1 More Chance!" will conclude around the end of March. Thanks to everyone who's stuck with me for so long! (I do have something of a sequel idea in my head, but I'll be taking some time off to get that one in full order before I start posting it.)

I'm also working on a one-shot ("Fireflies and Snow" - A Souji/Yukiko story. It was just a moment in the inner garden of the Amagi Inn.)

ABOUT "1 More Chance!" (花千地雷です!)

This Persona 4-based story, which takes place approximately 5 years post-True Ending of the Japanese version of the game, is a romance/friendship story centering on Satonaka Chie. While predominantly dealing with the romance between Chie and Hanamura Yousuke, I have tried to give each of the principal Investigation Team characters his or her due. While I've tried to add some bigger action to the story, it is still very much a relationship story between the two main protagonists.

Look for updates every Wednesday, in the Megami Tensei section on this site.

The story is divided into four Parts, but is meant to be read as a whole, which is why all of the Parts are included (or will be, once they're finished). They are:

Part I: Signs of Love (Chapters 1-9) - considered the Friendship chapters
Part II: Heartbeat, Heartbreak (Chapters 10-24) - considered the Budding Romance chapters
Part III: Strength of Heart (Chapters 25-37) - considered the Heavy Drama chapters, AKA The Duel chapters
Part IV: I'll Face Myself (Chapters 38-??) - considered the Persona/Inside-the-TV Adventure chapters

As a warning, this is a Mature-rated story. It involves adults engaging in consensual sexual activity, described in sometimes intricate detail. So, if you are not of age in your resident country, you may want to take a pass.
