Author has written 2 stories for New Jedi Order, and Resident Evil. Chances are, you've stumbled upon my profile after reading one of the two works I currently have posted. I think it's safe to assume that you'd prefer not to be bored by inessential details about myself, so let me just briefly fill you in on my history of fan-writing. To be perfectly honest, I'm not as big a fanboy of any major blockbuster, videogame, or book series as I used to be, which I suppose is a good thing because it means I'm growing up. However, until the age of 16, I spent hours upon hours writing overly dramatic stories based on my favorite Star Wars, Star Trek, and Resident Evil characters. I even went so far as to transcribe spin-off stories of some of my favorite Ogre Battle 64 characters. However, none of those sorry tales are worth much of anything, and I'm fairly certain publicizing them would not improve my repuation as an aspiring author. Generally I stick to writing my own stories now, set in my own universes and starring my own characters. However, I do occasionally grow nostalgic enough to pull out my old Resident Evil and Star Wars manuscripts to grind out another chapter, and I swear that I will finish the two works posted here before I... uh... die. Oh, and lest I take all the glory for myself, significant credit for the Resident Evil epic has to go to my friend Jeff, who was the one to finally get that snowball rolling in the first place. Thanks, bro. Just so we're clear, I'm all about realism and I'm very, very serious about my writing - even when the subject matter consists of such topics such as intergalactic space battles and flesh-eating zombies. My works are intended to be for serious fans of these universes who see more than just a good storyline and likable characters. So, to keep me sharp and consistent, please keep me accountable for my facts and characterizations. The Resident Evil work in particular might possibly be confusing because I'm working with two different time-lines: the one Capcom embedded in the games (which was slightly flawed, as many of my fellow geeks will note) and the slightly divergent one put forth by S. D. Perry in her Resident Evil novels. Some details might not be clear especially concerning dates and minor events, so please let me know if you find inconsistencies or anything else worth mentioning. I guess that about sums it up. Enjoy, and God bless. Justin ~ "Ken" Original Fiction: Original music: | |||||||
