UPDATE: April 8, 2009

Yes, I realize it has been ages since I last updated The Prophecy. This past year has been really tough--I was very sick for a while and even had to be hospitalized for over a week. Now that I'm recovering I'm really hoping to finish up this story, which I've had planned out since it's inception. There is still plenty more story to be told!

However, I did recently see on LJ Smith's blog (the one on her website) that she is planning to write a story about the Secret Circle in which, Nick dies and Cassie sees Diana and Adam kissing, and Cassie might end up with either Adam or Nick. I'm sure LJ's story is still very different then my own, but it does make me less motivated to finish this story when the true author (who rocks) is writing something kind of similar. I'm afraid that my story is going to look like a crappy knock-off or something, or that it just won't seem very original.
