| Anna McNarin |
Author has written 14 stories for Tale Spin, Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century, Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers, DarkWing Duck, Beetlejuice, SWAT Kats, Labyrinth, Fairly Odd Parents, Hey Arnold, DuckTales, and Petshop Of Horrors. October 20, 2009 I'm writing a bit, but mostly playing beta. Really though, I'm MIA for now. September 5, 2009 I'm alive, sort of, just caught in the downhill curve of creativity, not a whole lot of ideas going through my head right now. It also doesn't help the last few times I've sat down to write I've been instant messaged and I'm too polite to tell them to shove off. Ah well. My plot bunnies are currently tuned into Fairly Oddparents, so no more Petshop of Horrors shorts for now unless a horde of muses decide to inspire me. The same especially goes for Morphine, if I work on it at all I'm going to do it with my full ability and attention. July 29, 2009 Comic Con- yikes. I also realized that the person who came up with the stereotype of Californians being notoriously bad drivers must have gone through San Diego. Downtown, stop signs read more like suggestions; I had a cabby tell me and my brother-in-law to move, yelling "f-you" because we stopped in the middle of a four way stop intersection on our turn because some idiot pedestrians thought it a brilliant time to cross. I gave the guy the bird, for yelling at us, and for trying to go through anyway. Braying jackass. July 17, 2009 Oi vey, welcher nächst? Wow, that makes for a weird sentence, especially the German. I know what I wanted to say, I just can't spell it, and the free translation site didn't give me what I thought it would- oh well, the point it universal. To those that read this page of mine, it's probably been obvious I'm pretty much MIA: a drabble here and there, and a beta job or two, and that's been it. School is coming up, and I'm planning a few trips before the semester starts, so don't expect to see anymore updates here from me until probably September. Yeah, that about sums it up. Peace. o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.o. About Favourites List: My favourite author's list is made up of writers I wholeheartedly recommend, and I found myself loving more than one -or all- of their works. Meaning, I won't have all my favourite stories listed, because it makes much more sense to me to favourite the author. Random Tid-Bits I have a bad habit of not reviewing stories I find mediocre, because I rather say nothing at all then write out "good job" in all its various forms, belittling when I do say it. I also have a bad habit of not reviewing if I'm reading late at night. It has nothing to do with the content, and everything to do with the fact I can't string two words together properly. If I do leave you a "good job" review, I mean it. If I'm watching your story and not leaving reviews it doesn't mean I find it mediocre; I don't see the point of reviewing every chapter. Very rarely, I will read and keep up with a story that I won't ever get around to putting on alert. I believe that if a story made you think it doesn't matter if you liked it or not because either way it had an impact. I will read practically anything, even stories that have parts that bother me. If I think a story has gone past the natural ending I will stop reading it. There is such a thing as too much. I will answer any question you ask me, only you might not like my answer. I have an intense dislike of pairing Jessie Bannon with Jonny or Hadji Quest, to me they're siblings. If I had to choose though, I'd prefer Jessie/Hadji. I think Alfred Pennyworth is as crazy as the rest of the Bat clan as he raised Bruce, and helped Bruce raise the rest. I also think it a riot that Bruce has had six "sons" between the cartoons and comics, but has not changed a single diaper. XD (Dick, Jason, Tim, Damian, Terry, Matt- if you don't know who they are you can ask, I won't laugh; at least, you won't know I am) ;-) When Curiosity Met Insanity is a brilliant web comic over on livejournal. Go read it. It's not romantic, but I think Magica DeSpell and Scrooge McDuck have a very passionate, very volatile friendship with sexual tension in the undertones. I'm not talking just the cartoon. My favorite characters to read and write about are Darkwing Duck and Negaduck. I find their duality, and fact they're the same person fascinating to no end. No matter how much of a fan of a show I am, if I think the original creative team nailed it, I won't write for it. (usually, just broke this code for the first time) McNarin is not just a pen-name, it's a variant of a family name, Nairn. I'm a Scottish Californian, and to me real men wear kilts. Two words: Bunny Butt. XD Chris Carter said, ". . . the best kind of sexual tension for me is when you put a smart man and a smart woman in a room. You've got immediate sexual tension, no matter if it's romantic." "If you don't think, then you shouldn't talk." ~The Mad Hatter; Lewis Carroll | |||||||||||
