I'm on hiatus now, trying to get adjusted to a new school, new system, new rules. It MIGHT be a while before I can finish TaBA - but I SWEAR I seriously will post a teaser, as soon as I get my school schedule figured out! So watch out for that in the next month or so... I wonder if I could post another challenge or like a short ficlet...

There and Back Again Update: Since Chapter 18 is UP, there are JUST3 chapters left! Everything gets much more fast-paced from now on. Love the reviews, love all of you, but I'm not sure when the next update's coming. Haha, guess you guys better persuade me. Chocolate anyone? Seven-league boots? Adoring reviews :P That sounds nice...

Girl: aged 17, dreadfully obsessed with overachieving (voted Most Likely to run out of time), vain foppish heroes with a tendency to drawl, produce green slime, or enact haymarket tragedies, the color green (dancing Shamrocks!), anything shiny (gah, am a packrat...), e-mailing, reading, writing, hugging enormous pillows, and hot British accents. Have a penchant for wearing pink, fluffy bathrobes in public (not intentionally!), tripping over everything and anything, feeling embarassed and ridiculous, blushing (like lobster-red, not attractive...), blurting out whatever's on my mind without thinking, and smiling (too much, according to some people.)

Ships I favor: Draco/Hermione (but Ron/Hermine and Ginny/Harry in the books); Sarah/Jareth (I LOVE good Labyrinth fics...); Sophie/Howl (who are meant to be!); Snape/Sinistra (Lamentations is a GREAT fic...sigh); and I like funny, GOOD fairytales. Have recently become obsessed with Remus Lupin/Nymphadora Tonks who are sooo meant to be... = D

Books I'm sneaking to college: (So many books, sigh so many will have to be left behind...) But I can only take a select few comfort books (paperbacks only...) for that miserable day when it's raining (or snowing), my parents have left to the Bahamas, there's no one to call, and I've just gotten a D on an english paper (dreadful hypothetical situation, isn't it?): I Capture the Castle, The Blue Sword, The Perilous Gard, Howl's Moving Castle, Fair Peril, Enchantment, The Whim of the Dragon, Crown Duel, The Only Alien on the Planet, Sabriel, and perhaps some others - must see what my suitcase will take.

Favorite Musicals: Wicked, Hairspray, The Producers (wonderful!), Annie Get Your Gun, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, Jekyll & Hyde, Bye Bye Birdie, The Lion King, Jesus Christ Superstar, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Mamma Mia (hopefully, will have the chance to see more shows!)

Favorite Movies: Casablanca, It's a Wonderful Life, Some Like it Hot, Pride and Prejudice, Emma, The Philadelphia Story, The Count of Monte Cristo, LotR (the trilogy!), Roman Holiday, Breakfast at Tiffanys, The Matrix, X-Men, Gladiator, The Usual Suspects, Miss Congeniality, 10 Things I Hate About You, Pirates of the Caribbean, Mr. Nice Guy, Mean Girls, Shrek, The Emperor's New Groove, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Labyrinth, etc. . . . (when I can think of them, I'll write them down.)I also have to admit that I'm one of those usual romantic saps - I love romantic comedies. This is how it goes: the big, huge, visual effects movies at the movie theater, but the sappy romantic comedies at home.
