Author has written 23 stories for Stargate: Atlantis.

Many years ago, I came to San Francisco after living overseas for some time. I just fell in love with the City and haven't tired of it yet. I work in an office, but do lots of other things in my spare time. Work allows me to live.

I have read a few of the profiles here and am impressed by the fact that people from all walks of life and all ages are into fan fiction. I have been interested in sicence fiction for more years than I care to admit to, but have been writing for only a coule of years. I wrote two pieces for the FireFlyFans.net site under the pen name Wantmore (Lorr was already taken) before drifting over to Stargate Atlantis.

I have found fan fiction to be an immensely fun diversion. It allows me to exercise my brain and satisfy the need to be creative. Keeping within the canon and characters while being creative is good discipline for the novel I am writing (or would be writing if I didn't keep getting sidetracked by ideas for SGA stories). I am especially grateful for the internet and sites such as this one that allows me to post my work and have other people read it. And, reading work by other authors is so much fun.
