Well. Hm. It's been an awful long time since I updated this.
I guess not much about me has changed; I'm an awful anime/manga nut (otaku, I believe, doesn't even begin to cover it) and I live way outin the Northwest of USA. Nice place, really...but not much of a nexus for anime stuff. So here I am, online--my lifeline, out here in the sticks. I'm a rather quiet sort (when not on a sugar high) so I'm not much of a corresponder, but I write fics whenever I can.
I adore a huge number of different series, some daily and some in passing; I'm not going to make a whole list here because A) it'd take too long, and B) there's so many I tend to forget some. Heh...um...suffice to say I like a whole lot of anime and manga (and then some 'Toons and movies and TV shows...), and I always seem to fall into new ones left and right. (glares at the Evil Influences--and you know who you are)
Obviously, I write fanfiction. I also read it quite a bit. In fact, I read darn near anything ofinterest I can get my hands on, and that includes manga, fanfics, novels, etc etc ad infinitum. I try to keep my writing up to a certain level of quality (and I pray that it shows), as well as weaving plots that are new, interesting, unique, or well-thought-out. I'm either going to do something nobody's ever done before (innocent look) or if it has been done, I'll do it in a way no one else has ever tried. At least I hope...
Well, that's sorta me. I wish I was more interesting--but I think my fics are much more interesting than me, ne? Go on down there and read them; I'll quit yapping now!
PS: Given how my life has evolved over the last few years, this is apparently the best place to check for updates; I've been running out of time to play with my webpage (cries) but at least good ol' Fanfic-dot-net (as rotten as it can be sometimes) is an easy place to toss the fics where everyone can find 'em. UPDATE May 2007 -- I'm still in the throes of university, and writing has been sporadic. Financial stresses tend to make the Muses depressed and lethargic, but I still work on what I can when I can--I appreciate everyone's patience. I will attempt to comment on the status of various fics, but please do not take this as set in stone.
Coming Home - very slow progress, probably not posted until completed. Some things/timings get complicated.
Relative Truth - in for technical/continuity revamps, no major changes; updates as time permits.
White Dog - Houston, we have a problem. Same with Fall of a Prince.
Chasing Dreams - also in sloooow progress, may not be posted until completed.
The Reason - in progress in tandem with another RK fic, still very slowly.
Journey to the Past - worked on when I think of it, but the outline/sequencing is complete.
Foxtrail - one-shot, but this was always meant to have at least one or two sequels (of at least one-shot length) so no one should despair; I'll get to 'em when I can.
Bring Me to Life, Secret of the Beast Spear, DBG, Blau Weihnachten - on a lower-priority worklist for now; my apologies.
