TONIGHT IS ALIVE WITH THE PROMISE OF A STREETIGHT:

Brief Summary of Blue Sheep Reverie: Lahti is one of four leaders of the Sarte - one of the two gangs ruling a city. (The other gang is the Mynah). Kai is a young boy, around 19-20, who is a fighter/was looking to avenge the murder of his girlfriend Maria. He believes that Lahti might have something to do with Maria's death because they were similar rings, so he gets close to Lahti by becoming his body guard, they start up a relationship, then Maria shows up and turns to be not dead, but trying to kill Lahti. She is also Lahti's sister and was once a leader of the Sarte, but she turned to the Mynah side. In the end, she gets away and Kai and Lahti are together, but it's not a very connected or stable relationship, to say the least.

Favorite Books: My Favorite book ever is The Pushcart War, by Jean Merril, but I also Love The Rule of Four, The Hundred Secret Senses, The Firm, The Pelican Brief, Run Away Jury,Tumbsucker, The Client, and many others, I read quite a lot...

Favorite Music: MY favorite bands are Evan & Jaron and Mook, but I also really like 50s and early 60s rock, broadway stuff, and then random songs by popular artists, but I usually only like one or two songs a group/person if it was written in the last 20 years. Lately I have been listening to a lot of indie and soft rock including Anything But Joey, Ben Jelen, Elliott Smith, Greg Johnson and MANY others.

Favorite TV Shows: My favorite TV shows ever are 3rd Rock from the Sun, Arrested Development, Coupling (the British Version) and The War at Home. I also like 24, Law & Order, Alias, and I used to like LOST, but not so much anymore. I am also a big fan of the Tom and Jerry Cartoons. I also have to admit to a strange attraction to Gossip Girl, though mostly because of Eric...

I will read almost anything that sounds good to me, though I rarely read Heteromance...and if you have something that you want me to read, I have more then enough spare time usually.

I LIKE SLASH! YES! I DO!

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction and air conditioning.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that
hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy
behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has
legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed
at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites,
and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were
allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun
marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay
couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to
marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs
more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight
parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like
ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country.
That's why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model
at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents
to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could
never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to
cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans...
