Hi. I am an 21 year old student, who loves reading other peoples fanfiction, so I have decided to join, and have a go at writing a few stories myself. I have always loved the Thunderbirds ever since I saw the very fist episode, which in my case I think was the one with the crocodiles, that was back in 1992 when I was 6. I was so excited when they decided to repeat it again in 2000, when I was 14 and probably should have known better, but alas I watched every single episode along with my little brother who was 6, and got him and myself completely addicted. When the film came out last year I was thrilled and although it wasn't nearly as good as the puppets I still loved it. It was earlier this year that I found this amazing site and I have read many stories and realised that I am not alone in my obession with Thunderbirds. Thank you all who write on this site for the hours of enjoyment of reading your stories and allowing me to join in with my own take.

I have to warn you that I am a half English, half Welsh, biology student, meaning that writing is a hobby, along with playing a cornet (that's a short fat trumpet, not an ice cream) in a brass band. I wonder if I will be able to put all those into a thunderbirds story, I'll have to have a think.

I am called Chemical Girl by my family as I am very weird and actually love Chemistry. Unfortunately I am a bit like Alan Tracy, as I did manage to set fire to my chemistry classroom during a practical once. It was an accident, honest.

My first story is called Alignment and is an attempt to bring the 2004 movie of Thunderbirds to the series. I didn't think it could be done but the more I have thought about the more it appears possible if you play on a couple facts. I'm sure you'll understand when I finish it.
