Author has written 9 stories for Lord of the Rings, and Silmarillion.

Grüß Gott! (Hi!)

I am Catholic and Yankee and quite proud of both. For some years I have spent my free time dodging the maws of hungry goats and chickens. And, given some thought, I would like to marry Spock. (Maybe that's not logical... oh well.)

Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, Silmarillion, and The Hobbit are my favorite fandoms. I am also a fan of Digimon, Star Wars, Star Trek, Gargoyles, Narnia, and Harry Potter. In addition, I'm something of an American Civil War buff. (If anyone else out there thinks General J. Chamberlain is wicked awesome, give me a PM). But my greatest interest is astronomy - neutron stars, red giants, comets, and all that good stuff. I hope to make the study of it my career.

Right, so I do not write slash, heavy-romance, ultra-gore, or anything Adult, to put it that way. I do humor – I try not to so much but can’t help it. I also do adventure, though I attempt to avoid explosions, and I try to write some drama and contemplative things. I don't bother with something that does not make me think. (Well, usually, harrharr).

Many, many 'paper' authors have influenced me, and I urge you to give them a look too:

-Jules Verne (his Journey to the Center of the Earth never fails to give me eager goosebumps)

-Victor Hugo

-C.S. Lewis (Narnia and beyond… his essays are powerful)

-Fyodor Dostoevsky, especially his Brothers Karamazov

-Leo Tolstoy (he can put into words that which you always knew but never knew you did)

-John Steinbeck (LOVE his style)

-Agatha Christie’s many mysteries

-William Goldman’s The Princess Bride

-Michael Shaara's Killer Angels

-Margaret Mitchell’s Gone with the Wind

-Ben Ames Williams’ House Divided

-James Harriet’s All Creatures Great and Small

-A.A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh (witty and whimsical –try it)

-and, yeah, J.R.R. Tolkien’s anything and everything

And please do check out the authors under Favorites!

Feel free to contact me for, umm, whatever. If my writing is bad, I'd rather not be left in the dark... or if ya just want to say hi, that's great too. (Hey, I enjoy getting mail).

Eru bless!

BTW ~ Storiesofarda.com is an amazing LotR fanfiction archive: quality stories, friendly people, and non-slash. I also recomend lotrfanfiction.com - everyone's very nice, laidback over there. For info on the upcoming Hobbit movie, you can go to councilofelrond.com. Happily for those who have acquired rashes in Hobbit anticipation, some fans have created a mini-film The Hunt For Gollum.
