Author has written 6 stories for South Park, Harry Potter, and Prison Break. Hey!! So I'm a 17 year old girl... more like fangirl. Up till now I only read fanfic, but I finally decided that I was being too selfish and decided to start giving back to the community. Gonna start out slow though. English is not my native language and I'm not that strong in grammar, but I think this is a great chance to improve. So sorry for all the silly mistakes that I'm probably going to make. Gonna keep my profile fic-related, cuz this is a fanfic site after all. So here are some fandoms and pairings that I absolutely luuurve: Supernatural: Okay, lemme just say... duuuuuude. I cannot believe I haven't watched this before. It is frigging amazing! I love it, I love it, I love it! Can I just say, Dean Winchester... He is... officially my favourite tv character EVER! Adorable, and oh, so sweet. So goddamn hot, too. So does my current favourite fandom have any slash pairings that I like? It's tough, two main (hot) characters are brothers, so you know, I don't have to continue. Upon careful consideration and observation (and reading a ton of fanfics), I came to the conclusion that Wincest = love! Yeah, yeah, I know, some of you think it's gross, but I have an excuse of being a crazy fangirl and I think that releases me from any moral obligations when it comes to fanfiction. Okay, I'm writing crap, lol, seriouslah, just trying to justify my new-found and undying love for Dean Winchester/Sam Winchester which if properly done, can be scorching hot. Before I say anything else, I must mention that I'm a big believer in bottom!Dean. It's just so cute and sad and heartbreaking and uuhhh... hot. Okay, 'hot' over-use, but that's one of da first things that comes to mind when I think of Supernatural, Wincest or Sam/Dean. As much as I love the fact that the show has hot dudes, I also love the fact that they are demon-hunters! I think Supernatural fills the void that was left by 'Angel', and Angel and Spike's awesome ass-kicking abilities. More like, over-fills. =) Errm... in a good way. Lol. One thing that pisses me off though is the serious over-use of the whole 'damsel in distress' act. Come on... seriously! Most the female guest star characters, the girls that Dean and Sam encounter along the way and/or save scream like... well, girls, but... There's some serious stereotyping action going on. I think Ruby's character sorta makes up for it though. She kicks some seriously heavy booty and isn't all over the boys like all other chicks. Bella is one annoying bitch. Bobby is a cool guy. And from the baddies... man, gotta love the Trickster! Haha, the 'slow-dancing, probing alien', that's all I'm saying. Harry Potter: Sirius Black/Remus Lupin - Come on you guys, these two were meant to be!! They are like, 100 percent canon in my mind. Very tragic story though :-( The whole thing with Tonks, Remmy was just lonely, and come on, he lost his lover for the second time, he could either completely self-destruct or try to move on. Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy - As much as I completely believe in the previous ship, this is the ship that I adore the most. Harry & Draco. Thinking about it puts a smile on my face. Yes, it would be shocking, yes it would be strange, yes it would cause an uproar in the wizarding world, but when have things like this stopped the Golden Boy? There is a thin line between love n hate, after all. "Harry, however, had never been less interested in Quidditch; he was rapidly becoming obsessed with Draco Malfoy." That made me happy when I read it. Like, mad happy. Ginny and Harry? Come on, really? Jo, what were you thinking! In my mind though, Harry is taller and bigger than Draco. C'mon, y'all, it's betta that way!! Well, whateva floats your boat, really. Seamus Finnigan/Dean Thomas - There might be something there, who knows. They are pretty close. Such a cute couple! "Seamus gave a great roar of delight and ran to hug his best friend". Yes, je sais, pathetic. cackles evily George Weasley/Lee Jordan - I dunno, I just have this feeling for some reason. I mean Fred took Angelina to the ball, and J. K. never mentioned whom George went with :) Of course my mind provided me with the explanation in the form of this ship. And yes, Rowling said that George had a son in the future, but maybe he and Lee adopted. Either way, George is gay!! That like totally rhymed. I used to write poems, you know. You guys should thank Merlin that I stopped. They sucked donkey cajones!! I think whoever read them, lost a great number of brain cells. Marcus Flint/Oliver Wood - Hot Quidditch players together, what more can I say! They would probably have a far from a romantic relationship, but who needs those anyways? It's all about the angry slashy confrontations in the shower rooms! Albus Dumbledore/Gellert Grindelwald - Oh my god, you guys, I was SOOO excited when I found out the news about Dumby. After I finished the 7th book I sorta suspected that there might have been sth going on between the two, but I sorta threw it aside cuz I always suspect things like that, lol, plus I had hotter pairings to consider, such as Michael/Mahone :) But then... omg... I mean, I was kinda right!! Well, true, and sad, Grindy didn't love Dumby back, but... :( But who knows, maybe sth did happen bewteen them, even if it was only Grindelwald's way of manipulating Dumby. At the end though, I think that Grindy sorta regretted everything, and maybe even missed Al. :'( Btw, I never cared much for Dumbledore at first, I always thought of him as an old nice dude, but at the end of book 7, after we found out everything about him, and that he wasn't always so good and caring, it made me like him. I mean he actually started to seem human. And now we find out that his was in love. Funny that I never wondered about this, I mean the guy did talk about love all the time. Makes sense now. Yeah, speaking of which, I'm practically in love with J. K. Rowling now. I mean I was sorta pissed at her before for the whole Harry/Ginny thing (a tad predictable, you know), but she redeemed herself in my eyes. I never expected her to announce sth like this. Whatever her reasons were, publicity or whether she genuinely said it, it's her story, her imagination, and her characters, so it makes it true, lol. Though I guess if she went on to say that Remmy and Sirius were not together, I would pretend I've never read that piece of info. Something is eating at my brain, though. Just what on earth was Aberforth doing with those goats?! I really want to know, rofl! As much as I am a slash freak, I think that Ron/Hermione is totally meant to be. One straight pairing that I like. Never read any fics on them though, hm... Read femmeslash too, though very rarely. I have a feeling that Millicent Bulstrode, the girl from Slytherin was a lesbian. Can't find her a partner though. Read somewhere a story on her and Luna Lovegood, and now I'm starting to think that it's kinda cool. So I guess also Millicent Bulstrode/Luna Lovegood. Thinking about it, Luna might be gay. I think it would be sort of pretty if she was. Weird logic I know, but it kinda makes sense, if only in my twisted imagination. I mean she's all flowery and earthly and like strange in a very cool way, and I just can't really imagine her with some dude. She would go better with another girl. Man, love her to bits :-) Also, I love SNAPE!! He is the coolest, ain't he? I knew he'd turn out good. I mean obviously he didn't like go around adopting stray kittens and fluffy bunnies, and he sorta converted cuz of Harry's mama, but whatever. Btw, the whole Lily/Snape thing, so many people predicted it, that I was like 'Nah, no way, so typical'. Guess I've been wrong. But it does make sense. I wonder if something ever happened between him and Lils? But I don't think that they would have been really happy together. Snape seems to be the only practical guy. The Dark Arts was his passion and why would he give it all up for a girl he fancied? They say 'It's better to have loved and lost than to do 20kg of laundry a week'. Well, I don't know really. Oh, crap. Mostly Harry Potter so far, isn't it? Well, I generally read any slash, but my fave pairings are based on a few books and tv series. South Park: Coolest thing ever. Randy Marsh is hilarious. He's friggin' awesome. Cartman is da man!! That guy seriously kills me. Butters is such a nice kid. Lol, Towelie is kinda funny too. Al Gore as portrayed in SP makes me lol. "half bear, half man, and half pig" and "kid 1, kid 2, kid 3, and of course, kid 4". "I'm super serial!" Stan/Kyle - Cutest couple, ever!! Wendy is a biatch. She's like Ginny to me. Craig/Tweek - I always wonder why are so many ppl into CraigxTweek, but yeah, there IS sth there. XDXD Craig is an asshole and Tweek is this vulnerable paranoid kid. It would be so cute if they were together. Craig/Clyde - I'm not completely sure of Craig/Tweek, so I think it's all right to occasionally indulge in a bit of CraigxClyde. They are sorta like Stan & Kyle, except less sweet and romantic, and more typical guy buddies who somehow realize they like each other a bit too much. XD Dunno, I guess in my head, it's usually gentleman!Stan and girly!Kyle for it to seem like a total guy buddy thing. Prison Break: Michael/Mahone - Like, the hottest pairing ever, dudes!! Lost: Sawyer is H.O.T. Jack/Sawyer - Major hotness alert! House, M.D.: House/Chase - That would be cute!! Foreman/Chase - That would be hot!! Angel: Cordy is awesome. If I go all het here for a sec, I think her & Angel would be good together. The whole AngelxBuffy thing, ugh. SpikexBuffy on the other hand, is all right. That scene in "Touched", where she nearly gives up and goes to some house and Spike goes after her after having kicked Faith's (whom I totally dig) ass, and then the whole speech, and holdin' each other, awwwww... I'm not really romantic, but that was incredibly touching. Angel/Spike - Back in the old days I was really into this ship. Now I still am positive there was sth between them. Anyone remember the episode "Power Play"? "... Angel and me have never been intimate. Except that one... " - Spike. XDXDXD "You know, um, I just wanna say Angel and Spike, they were hanging out, uh, for years and years and years, they were in, you know, all kinds of deviant, they were vampires... Are we thinking they never...? Come on, people! I'm just sayin'. I'm just sayin'. You know, they're open-minded guys. They may be evil but, you know, they're not bigoted or closed-minded." - Joss Whedon in an interview. I think they have a great deal of affection for each other and even though they don't show it, they obviously have something connecting them. A bit more than a sire/childe bond, I dare say. They probably might have something again, who knows! Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Warren/Andrew - This one breaks my heart. Poor Andy. "... he never really loved... hanging out with us." - Andew. Heartbreaking. "It has to be said : the Andrew scene in "The Girl in Question" was a victim of me dropping the ball. I specifically said there should be a party of men AND women, all glamorous and Italian, waiting for Andrew. I wasn’t there when it was shot, and didn’t have the time/money/energy to change it after the fact, though it made me crazy." - Joss Whedon XD The Covenant: Reid/Tyler - Come on, there was totally something there! Seriously, though, this movie was like a slashy treasury chest. All the dudes were hot, and there was totally subtext there! Four Brothers: Bobby/Jack - It's just sweet n cute. The way Jack screamed for Bobby in the end just broke my heart. Lord of the Flies: Jack/Ralph - I'm not sure how that works, but it does! At least in my head. There was total chemistry between them. Queer as Folk (US version): It's illegal to be that friggin' hot!! Brian, uhhh... :-) Brian/Justin are meant to be even though I think the ending was good. If they stayed together, it wouldn't have worked at that point. Lol, yeah, I'm not making sense... The L Word: Shane rox. My fave though, is Alice. Love her style, her big mouth, her frankness. She's fun. Except sometimes she can be mean to Max. He's cool. Bette & Tina are too whiny, but belong together lol. Jenny pissed me off A LOT the last few seasons, but in da last couple of episodes of season 5 I really liked her. Omg, and the ending, when she told Shane "You've broken my heart." Well, that broke MY heart. ONLY ONE MORE SEASON WITH 8 EPISODES LEFT, NOOOO. :'( Dawn Denbo and Lover Cindy were funny. And I think I liked Helena better with no money. Will & Grace: Karen, you go girl! That drunken sarcastic mean bitch! Gotta love her. Jack too, such a clueless drama-queen. Will is sweet. I like Gracie, but she can be a tad selfish sometimes, especially when it comes to Will. Okay, that was a long rant. I needed to let it out though, and this is sorta the place to do it. None of my friends are into fanfiction and they grew tired of me talking 24/7 about the hotness that is Michael/Mahone, etc. They just do not see the light. I did manage to convert a guy on the Remus/Sirius issue though. :-) Well, that's all for now. I sure can talk - type - a lot. And I guess everyone got the fact that I really really really love slash. I wonder though, how come people are usually into slash between seemingly straight characters? Surprisingly there's not that many slashy fics on Brokeback Mountain, and I don't really want to read it myself. I love the movie, though. Ennis/Jack 4ever. Sorry... slash addiction is a hard habit to kick. :D Oh yeah, I really do think that homophobia is disgusting. How can you deny people their happiness like that? I really don't understand what's wrong with being gay/bi/les/trans and I get so fuckin' mad when people go like "oh, well, since you think being gay is okay, you must also support paedophiles and rapists". You go like WHAT THE FUCK? How on earth could you even THINK of comparing these things? Where is the connection? Anybody can be a pervert, whether straight or LGBT. Sexual orientation has absolutely nothing to do with it. And the whole 'God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve' argument. Oh, how witty, u can play around with some letters. How does that justify anything? Christianity is supposed to be all about forgiveness and acceptance, so how do all those haters and protesters justify themselves? What always comes to my mind is the phrase 'Will God judge me for loving or judge you for hating?' Really, guys, get at least a fucking ounce of open-mindedness; wouldn't hurt you. Ciao, fellas P.S. Wow, you actually read all that? Lol, congrats, you made it through my yammering, (and still, I go on, aaaaaand oooooon). Okie, I'm gonna stop now, I'm serial! I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian. I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman. I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights. We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time. I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room. I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me. I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again. I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear. We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men. I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me. I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman. I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman. I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male. I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men. I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that. I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual. I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I didn’t have to always deal with society hating me. I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind. I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love. I am the person who is afraid of telling his loving Christian parents he loves another male. Repost this if you believe homophobia is wrong. | |||||||
