Author has written 7 stories for Twilight, Inuyasha, and Vampire Knight.

Name: Desdemona

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Hair: Dark brown

Eyes: Gray

Height: Short and proud of it!

Favorites: Twilight, Inuyasha, Vampire Knight, The Legend of Zelda, Devil May Cry

Favorite Pairings: Edward/Bella (duh), Inuyasha/Kagome, Miroku/Sango, Sesshomaru/Rin, Zero/Yuki, Link/Sheik, Dante/Nero

About Favorite Pairings: Edward/Bella- pretty straight forward and not much to explain. Bella's my favorite female character (only slightly above Alice... Gods, I love her) and Edward is simply perfect, beautiful and a vampire... and I wish a guy like him really did exist. End of story. I also like Jasper/Alice pairings, just because I love Alice so much, but I don't read them as frequently as I do with Edward/Bella. However, I have no tolerance whatsoever for Bella/Jacob stories. Personally, I don't like him. I didn't mind him in Twilight, but as soon as we hit New Moon and Eclipse and that werewolf side came out, my patience with him went right down the plunger. Not to offend any Jacob/Bella readers out there, but that's just me.

Inuyasha/Kagome- another no brainer. Kagome kicks ass, and Kikyo gets on my nerves. She's dead for cryin' out loud! Ugh, it just bugs me. I'm also a stickler for good characterization for these two, especially Inuyasha (and I try my hardest to capture his personality accurately)

Miroku/Sango - again, not as frequently read as Inuyasha/Kagome, but I think these two are so cute together. It entertains me to no end to see Miroku being a perv and then having Sango slap him across the face for it.

Sesshomaru/Rin - though I fiercely love his younger brother, I do have a soft spot for Sesshomaru. Something about his cool, calm, collected nature draws me in, and then his supposed dislike for humans, yet he keeps the company of a human girl. It just intrigues me. So, that's why I enjoy this pairing so much, granted that Rin is older in the fanfiction than she is in the manga/anime.

Zero/Yuki - this one took me a while. At first, I like both Zero/Yuki and Kaname/Yuki, mainly because I didn't know which boy I liked more... the regal, powerful pureblood or the rebellious, doomed former-human... and they're both gorgeous. Tough choice, but I've finally decided on Zero, even though he probably won't get a happy ending. He's just so my type. And after finally getting to read the third and four volumes of the Vampire Knight manga, I've grown to dislike Kaname immensely. He's a little too manipulative for my tastes. I could go on for hours why Zero is the better option, but I'll spare those reading this bio. Unless you want me to. =) Also, another thing readers should know is that I do not read the online manga of Vampire Knight. I'm aware that it's there, but to me, its the same as spoilers. I prefer to have the actual book in my hand. It gives me something to look forward to if the going gets rough. Therefore, any Vampire Knight fanfiction that I write - and I do have several lined up - will be based solely on the information from volumes one through four. I vaguely know what happens in the following volumes based on fanfictions and summaries that I've read, but I have no intention of reading the online manga to see what happens. Just a fair warning. Please do not tell me what happens in later volumes. I will find out for myself when I buy them and will then write new fanfictions accordingly.

Link/Sheik - this one is give or take. I just flat out like Sheik. I think he's absolutely incredible. And honestly, I don't care if he's a male (because what girl doesn't love two hot guys getting it on?) or female. As long as Sheik is his (or her) own character, and not Zelda in disguise, I'll read it. This is based on my dislike for Zelda, because - aside from Twilight Princess - Zelda doesn't do much in the games. All she does is sit there and look pretty.

Dante/Nero - okay, I've recently fallen in love with Devil May Cry 4. I haven't played any of the other games in the series, simply because I don't have the game system for them, but I've watched the anime version of it, read the game summaries, and have beaten DMC4. Dante I immediately fell in love with. He always makes me laugh and his hard ass personality and rugged appearance pulled me in. Nero I love because of his attitude and temper... and he's pretty. :) Put these two together, and you've got a cute couple... well, maybe not cute... they're too bad ass to be "cute". "Hot" works better, lol. Anyways, I like this pairing, even though I'm still convinced that Dante and Nero are somehow related (C'mon. They both have white hair, silvery-blue eyes, pale skin, are part demon and have the same cocky attitude!)

I know I've mentioned several pairings or people that I'm not particularly fond of, but that does not by any stretch of the imagination mean that you will read a fanfiction of mine where I am bashing a particular character. Personally, I believe it ruins the quality of the story when writers do that. All these characters belong to their creators, and though I may not like them, I won't tarnish the creators' image of them.

(I just now noticed... basically all the anime guys I'm in love with have white/silver hair... Inuyasha = silver-white, Sesshomaru - silver-white, Zero = silver, Dante = white, Nero = white... noticing a trend here? lol)

About me: On top of being "height challenged," I've also got a very short fuse. It doesn't take much to anger or irritate me. I've been writing since the fourth grade and I absolutely love it. Currently, I'm in the progress of writing the first of a book series, that some day, I will hopefully publish. As my penname suggests, I love vampires. When handed a vampire book, I'll read it, no questions asked. I simply can't get enough of them. I've had this account for about three years and have just gotten around to using it.

I enjoy reading well-written, mature pieces. Very rarely will I read stories that involve humor, because from my perspective, they usually come off as either poorly written or stupid or both. However, if I come across a story that incorporates humor in a mature, enjoyable way that doesn't hinder a work's potential, then I will read it without complaint. In addition to that, when reading fan fictions, if the characters' personalities are drastically changed from the book, movie, etc., I won't read it. I'm a sucker for romance, so the more romance there is, the happier I'll be. I also firmly believe in happy endings. You'll never see me writing a story where a main character dies or the couple doesn't ride off into the sunset. My excuse for this is that the real world has enough tragedy in it already. Literature doesn't need it, too.
