Author has written 10 stories for Harry Potter, Ayashi no Ceres, Suikoden, Chronicles of Narnia, and American Girl.

I, Argentus, do solemnly swear to review all the fics I enjoy, regardless of the number of reviews, age of the fic, or anything else.

I have joined the Review Revolution. Post this in your profile and spread the love: 3

That is...when I find time to devour fics again. Sigh.

Name: Argentus on this site; Kusari Yarou in the Cloud/Aerith forums; AnakinSolo in the imdb forums. And...those are the only names you'll get out of me. :grins:

Location: Philippines

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Status: College student struggling to keep the writer's verve alive.

Pet Fandoms: Chronicles of Narnia- I particularly adore Edmund Pevensie, having had a love affair with him since the age of nine. Har! And my writing is currently geared towards Eustace Clarence Scrubb and Jill Pole, because I honestly love them, and because I feel they are quite unsung heroes at the moment.

Speaking of Narnia, I want to kiss the shoes of whoever did Eustace's voice in Focus on the Family's radio dramatization of the Chronicles. He was absolutely perfect.

Final Fantasy VIII- though the game's story was lackluster(and I'm not too fond of Rinoa, ugh); this fandom has spun so much gold out of something that is usually considered the worst FF game. I think that's really something.

Final Fantasy VII- for the lovely tragic Cleris, mostly. There is nothing like an dark, angsty Cloud/Aeris fic. Everything I could hope for in dark romance.

Harry Potter- I don't like wading through the raging ocean of this archive on ef-ef dot net...lots of unpleasant surprises, y'know? The fandom has gotten so batty, that I merely live off fic recs. My motto is, I'll stick to my side of the fandom. Because you know how it gets.

Potterwise, I like canon pairings, Black family fic, minor character studies and AUs.

Newsies- Unlike any fandom I've ever seen. High school/college fics that are actually good...bit characters getting sagas written about them...endless possibilities for AU's... bound to keep you wandering the archives for hours.

The Dark is Rising- that sort of ending practically screams for fanfic. Plus, Will and Bran are love.

Veronica Mars- I love character studies, and the characters from this show lend themselves so well to that type of fic. It helps that I adore almost every single character on VMars

AND MY FAVVORITE IS TWILIGHT ZOMG EDWARD IZSO HOTT!

...No, I'm kidding about that one. xd

Do check out my favorites list! I gallivant across different fandoms, and there's really lovely stuff in there.

Ficcly speaking...

I am fond of reading character studies, AU's or first-person POV

- I love unusual writing styles, like second person POV, or strange prose that when strung together, end up sounding fantastic. Think Markus Zusak's "The Book Thief"

-I like to be elaborate in my reviews, so if I give, say, a long review for your simple drabble, don't be surprised! On very rare occasions will I leave a review of the "Zomgwritemore" sort :p

-I like getting reviews, they make my day! First, because I continuously want my writing to improve and second, because I love meeting other people who share my interests and agree with me on this-and-that part of the story(that is, the original source)

-Slash? "Lemons"? Well... No, I'll not squee over a slash fic just 'cos it has two pretty boys doffing. Come on. Sure, chemistry is important, but I'd like a little love please? And tasteful sex scenes are good but I do not like being regaled with descriptions of "his throbbing rod of love" :winces: Please spare me, or fade to black if you must!

I am cursing whatever happened to this site that it's left some users incapable of being PM'd. People have left me really wonderful reviews that I CAN'T reply to because their PM's are somehow disabled. It annoys me because I really like to interact with people who keep me writing, you know?! Site, please fix this!

And okay, Site, why have you discarded the perfectly appropriate reply system in favor of something that allows you to reply to reviews of other people's stories? I discovered this quite by accident when I was logged in to this account and somehow replied to my other fandom (Animorphs) account.
