I suppose it's time I wrote one of these...

I'm a female college student in Santa Cruz, California. I like reading stories with complicated heroes, hurt/comfort and plenty of humor in the face of tragedy. I try to write the same, when I have the time. I'm comfortable with either slash or het, but I usually prefer general fiction because romance can sometimes make it hard to focus on the story and the characters.

I generally update every two or three months. If you're wondering when I'm going to update, check my website. I usually post a projected completion date for the next chapter there. Also, there are other stories and sometimes snippets there if you want to read more of what I've written

It's been quite a few years since I posted this profile, and not coincidentally, many things have changed. I'm currently a female soldier (medic) headed to Iraq in a few days. Better Angels is finished. Although I always envisioned it as the first part of a trilogy, I'm not sure if that will every happen. My interests have shifted over the years, although I still find myself writing occasional scenes for a sequel.
